Episode 6: The Myth that "Diagnosis Demands an Abortion"

In today's episode Harry and Kristen Hatcher share their family's story. Particularly about their son Truett who was diagnosed with Acrania, a rare fetal defect, in the early stages of development.  Harry and Kristen were advised by their Dr. that they could carry Truett to term knowing that he would not survive long if at all, or they could have an abortion. Our world tells us that the abortion is the more compassionate choice for the baby and the mother.  Please listen in as Harry and Kristen walk us through their journey with Truett, the choices they made, what those choices brought them, and how their family is still affected by the memory of Truett today.

Dr Kathi Aultman, a retired OBGYN of 33 years and a pro life advocate who has been featured by Focus on the Family, and has testified before congress on the dignity of human life, joins us to talk about many ideas and misconceptions that support the idea that “Abortion is Healthcare”.   Kathi shares her journey from being a very young pro-choice doctor, believing that supporting abortion as healthcare was helping women, and then coming to understand that every pregnancy is a life, and every life is precious no matter the age or stage of development.   Please listen in as Kathi and Jen discuss the abortion industry today, and the myths so many of us believe.   Listener discretion is advised.

Episode 4: The Myth of "Economic Status"

Miranda & Mimi, both former clients of First Coast Women's Services, share with us their stories of choosing life in the face of overwhelming socioeconomic difficulties. Both of their living, and financial situations alone would have been more than enough for some of our culture's most well meaning people to say, aborting their child would have not only been acceptable, but completely understandable. So many post abortive women say that if they had just one person supporting them, they'd have chosen life for their child. Episode 3: The Myth of "The Abortion Pill"

In this episode Jen Pace is joined by Dr. Jason Phillips, a board certified OBGYN. Dr. Phillips discusses several misconceptions about the abortion pill, like that it is "safer than Tylenol" and that medical complications occur in less than 1% of cases.  The abortion industry would like you to think that this medication is an easy way to deal with your unwanted pregnancy in the comfort and privacy of your own home, and there will be no physical mental or emotional complications. Episode 2: "The Myth of the Man's Role"

In this episode, Jen Pace talks with Brad Nelson and Doug Gray. Two men who have served as male mentors at First Coast Women's Services, to encourage men facing unplanned pregnancies in their relationships.  Our society tells us the man's role in a pregnancy should be only to support the woman in whatever decision that she makes. The world says that because men are so lacking in emotion, that an abortion wouldn't affect them anyway. Listen in as we hear their stories, how they've been able to speak life into the men they've mentored, and how important it is for men to stand up and act like the leaders that God created them to be.
