This is the English version of the original recount of the apparitions of Our Lady Guadalupe. It is a historical text called the Nican Mopohua, which means “Here is told” in Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs. It is the text that preserves the encounter between the mother of God and Saint Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin on the Tepeyac hill in December, 1531. Pope John Paul II, who canonized Juan Diego in 2002, called Our Lady of Guadalupe "the Mother of the civilization of love," and he said that she is the “Star of the first and the new evangelization of America." Pope Francis said that "Our Lady of Guadalupe, in fact, proclaims God in the most suitable language, the mother tongue." Which we can hear very clearly in the Nican Mopohua. And Pope Benedict XVI said that "Our Lady of Guadalupe signals the presence of the Saviour to the indigenous and mestizo population. She always leads us to her divine Son, who is revealed as the foundation of the dignity of every human being". A podcast of JuanDiegoNetwork.com

Our Father: Padre Nuestro | Spanish Prayers for Young Believers - Spanish Prayers for Young Believers

This episode of Spanish Prayers for Young Believers focuses on the Our Father prayer, known in Spanish as "Padre Nuestro". Luis Diego explains that Jesus taught this prayer to his disciples during the Sermon on the Mount, and it can be found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 6. The prayer is considered a template for how to pray to God and consists of seven petitions, which are said to contain everything one could desire. The first three petitions are said to draw people toward the glory of God and give him praise, while the last four petitions ask for his help. Millions of people worldwide say the prayer every day, and it has been a significant part of Christian tradition since Jesus first taught it.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
