episode Ep 21 - David McMillan: The Thailand Prison Escape cover

Ep 21 - David McMillan: The Thailand Prison Escape

This week starts with Sian nearly chopping off her finger, Von Pickle adding a few questionable words to his vocabulary, and Bobby joining the neighbourhood WhatsApp group, where he's already become acquainted with Trudy—the local Karen. In Spin the Yarn, Bobby tells the incredible story of David McMillan and his daring escape from a prison in Thailand. It's one of those stories that sounds too mad to be true, packed with tension, close calls, and enough sweaty-palm moments to keep you hooked. Sian also introduces a brand-new segment, What's Your Beef?, where she gets something off her chest that's been winding her up all week—parents bringing older kids to parties and completely taking over what should be for the little ones. We finish off in the algorithm with some surprisingly wholesome content about saving animals and people generally being decent for a change. A good mix of prison escapes, neighbourhood drama, and minor grievances this week. Lets get into it🏠🧇

episode Ep 20 - The Gruesome Attack cover

Ep 20 - The Gruesome Attack

This week starts with absolute confusion on the school run after a child starts crying wolf . Sian then gets mistaken for a boy in ALDI, while Bobby suffers a painful moment after someone compliments the dog and he genuinely thinks they’re talking about him. This week’s yarn takes a much darker turn as Sian tells the horrifying story of Teka Adams and the attempted fetal abduction case. It’s grim, unsettling, and definitely not one for the faint-hearted. Midnight Cringe comes from listener Mr Walker, whose first kiss gets completely ruined by the family dog… followed shortly after by his mum catching them. A disastrous sequence of events all round. And this week’s algorithm? Honestly, don’t expect much enlightenment—just Bobby and Sian having a proper moan about life for a while. A strange mix of dark stories, awkward moments, and pointless complaints. lets get into it🏠🧇

episode Ep 19 - The Mermaid Inn cover

Ep 19 - The Mermaid Inn

This week starts with Sian declaring war on BMW drivers now the sun’s out, Bobby spotting a crow lying in the road sunbathing like it’s in Benidorm, and the usual weekly nonsense that somehow becomes a full conversation. In Spin the Yarn, Bobby takes us through the creepy history of the Mermaid Inn, one of the most haunted pubs in Britain. Expect ghost stories, dodgy happenings, strange sightings, and a few spooky tales a bit closer to home from Croydon as well. Midnight Cringe comes from a very special guest this week—the birth-giver herself. Mum steps up to share some of her most embarrassing moments, and honestly, some things should probably stay private. We finish off with Sian’s algorithm, which is AI-generated songs made from our text messages… absolutely hilarious!! A strange mix of ghosts, oversharing, and complete rubbish this week. Lets get into it🏠🧇

episode Ep 18 - Nearly Blowing Up The House cover

Ep 18 - Nearly Blowing Up The House

This week we settle in with some proper trash telly, getting stuck into Temptation Island before balancing things out with the wholesome side of reality TV through Love on the Spectrum. Sian also gives us an update on her week with Von Pickle, questions reality itself for a bit, and continues fully embracing life as Auntie Sian. This week’s yarn comes in the form of two near-disasters involving Rachel—one where she nearly blows up the house, and another where she nearly dies entirely. Just standard everyday stuff really. Sian also brings an “Am I the Arsehole?” story to the table involving someone taking a dump on the floor, which naturally leads to a far more serious discussion than it probably deserved. For Load of Waffle, we switch things up with a game of “Guess the Original”, trying to work out if it is original or a cover One of those episodes that starts off fairly normal and slowly drifts into nonsense. Lets get into it🏠🧇

episode Ep 17 - The Lies Your Parents Would Tell You cover

Ep 17 - The Lies Your Parents Would Tell You

This week we start with the realities of the school holidays, being stuck at home ill and zooming into the telly , and how sickness somehow does the rounds in every household. Bobby somehow manages a rare win on the grabbing machines down Brighton Pier, and we get into the small wins in life—like finally sending the kids back to school, the unmistakable smell of manure in the countryside, and realising success now is basically just keeping plants alive. In Spin the Yarn, we go through all the things parents told us growing up that we just accepted—don’t swallow your gum, your face will stay like that if the wind changes, the dummy fairy, and the strict rule about never turning the light on in the car. From the mystery of the ice cream van to the stories behind dead pets, it’s all the stuff that made sense at the time. Midnight Cringe sees Bobby make a serious error, spilling a full tank of water in the loft of a very posh house in Fulham… not his finest moment. We finish up with Sian in the algorithm, somehow reading and listening to the same book at the same time and trying to make sense of it. A proper mix of everyday life, throwbacks, and questionable moments. Lets get into it🏠 🧇

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
