Today's episode is an interview with Kiondre Thomas who has recently been signed by the Cleveland Browns after finishing his football career at Kansas State (and the University of Minnesota before that). Kiondre grew up in Arkansas in a small town and used football to make a way in life for him and kept him focused on the chapter of his life. Kiondre talked about how he didn't have a lot of role models from Arkansas to look at as an example of what sports could do for him so he talks about how he relied on himself for blazing a pathway forward. Kiondre also talks about how he was a high-level 3-sport athlete and how that helped him be successful as a football player. We hope you enjoyed this episode! Today's episode is an interview with Troy Jones who has made his living as a Muay Thai and Kickbox fighter. Troy is the WMC PAN AM CHAMPION, Glory KB ranked 7th, WBC Muay Thai ranked 10th and IFMA two-time winner. We talked to Troy about growing up playing team sports like football through college and how he searched for something to keep him competitive after college. He found Muay Thai and kickboxing and fell in love with it. Troy talks about how he had to learn to excel in an individual sport since he'd grown up playing in teams. Troy has an elite mentality and we had a lot of fun talking about the mental warfare that goes into fighting, starting at the weigh in. We hope you enjoyed this episode!
