With him we talked about his motivations of creating this very engaging Twitter account and his views about EU comms, influencers and the pandemic.

Is freedom of speech respected on this digital age or is it in true danger? Do they have Social Media platforms the right to ban or censor specific users for showing certain misbehaviour? For answering this and many other questions, we had at #EUinfluencer [https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/euinfluencer] 2021 a very interesting debate with Pablo Pérez, journalist, consultant and ex-Head of Social Media at the EU Commission, and Paul Nemitz, Principal Advisor in the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers of the European Commission, who were able to throw some light over this interesting topic.

Alia Papageorgiou is Comms Lead and Spokesperson at GESAC. At the #EUinfluencer 2021 event, we discussed with her the important role that influencers have on topics like sustainability and climate change. Also, we could hear some words from Robert Madelin, chairman at FIPRA, who gave us his personal insights about these topics.

During #EUinfluencer [https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/euinfluencer] 2021, we maintained a very interesting talk with Theresa Fallon, founder and director of the Centre for Russia Europe Asia Studies in Brussels, with whom we discussed about the importance of influencers for spreading information on behalf of vaccination.
