In Coffee Veritas, Episode 5: "Best Bar Ever!"

From January 16 to February 6, 2022, the Supreme Court of the Philippines  will  hold the bar examination after the country was placed under continuous quarantine due to  the Covid-19 pandemic.  With the changes come the struggle and apprehension of 2 batches of barristers (2020 and 2021) who will take on the modified of the country's most competitive examination. In its 6th episode,  In Coffee Veritas hosts Jondale Mae Garcia and Alex Canlas will be talking to four barristers Niezel, Jeg, Liza and Joseph to know their experiences, perspectives and tips on the upcoming bar examination which is dubbed the "Best Bar ever." In Coffee Veritas, Episode 4: "Musta na, Atty?"

In this episode, our hosts Jondale Mae Garcia and Jorge Ferraris II interviewed 4 of Western Visayas young private practitioners, Attys. Kyle Dinopol, Kareen Cabuslay, Ryan Anatan and Sal Alba II to know whether their decision to pursue private practice is worth it after 3 years of becoming lawyers. This episode delves into the reality that young trial lawyers go through especially during the time of the Covid-19 pandemic and reminisce the ups and downs of  surviving the "birth pains" of joining the challenging private practice of law in the Philippines.

In Coffee Veritas, Episode 3: "Online Child Pornography"

The continuing lockdown due to the Covid Pandemic has ushered a new wave of criminality.  Sadly as it may seems, it targets our children whose online presence has drastically increased during this period.  It is fortunate that we have laws that protects our children us from online sex predators. In this episode,  host Jondale Mae Garcia  and  Phaul Rey Tolentino are privileged to interview an expert on cyber crime expert, Asst. Provincial Prosecutor Myra Duremdes.  Prosecutor Duremdes will discuss the salient features of our protection against online sex predators and the importance of protecting the future of our country, our children.

In Coffee Veritas, Episode 2: "Is there Hope for Mother Earth?"

Saving Mother Earth from constant abusive practices entails knowledge of basic environmental laws and awareness of current issues.  In this mornings' issue of In Coffee Veritas, hosts Jondale Mae Garcia and Jorge Ferraris II talks to a young and energetic environmental warrior and protector, Atty. Arjunn Marven J. Calvo, the Chief of the Legal Department of Environment Management Bureau (EMB) Regional Office 6.  Atty. Calvo will discuss the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) system, current environmental issues in Region 6 and the process in reporting environmental violations.

In Coffee Veritas, Pilot Episode: "Covid-19 and Law School"

Starting the first semester of 2020, law schools have adopted an asynchronous class arrangement wherein law professors and their students no longer meet inside the classroom.  Law subjects are now taught via online classes via ZOOM, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.  So gone are the face-to-face classes where students would be called to stand up for recitation  until the law professor is satisfied with the answer.   However, this does not mean that online classes are less fun and suspenseful, law students still dread being called for recitation during online classes.    Hosts Jondale Mae Garcia and Jorge Ferraris II talk to three law school students: Maree Erika Upo-an ,Christian Tancuan and Jezner Ralph Sasi  about their perspectives on the topic.
