Informationsvisualisierung - WiSe 2009/2010

The key topics covered by the lecture are: human visual perception, multivariate data visualization, and interaction approaches for visualization systems. Based on that we will discuss visualization strategies for presenting graphs, networks, tree structures, text and documents, and time-based data. Moreover, we will talk about techniques to make more efficient use of limited screen real estate with regards to both desktop systems and mobile devices.
