Heb 11: 8,9 - By Faith, Abraham looked forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. Faith helps us look forward to see God's promise fulfilled in our life. Faith helps us look forward with perseverance even though the situation may seem challenging. And we look forward to see the goodness of God even in tough circumstances because God is the architect and builder of the goal and plan we have. Heb 11 - 8, By Faith, Abraham when called obeyed. When God calls us He asks us to get rid of all idols and asks us to move away from the things that distract us and make us miss God's call. Disobedience causes us to miss out God's call and Faith helps us obey God. Obedience that comes from Faith is not based on fear or compulsion.
