2 EpisoderHlo friends! 'All about perspective' is a series of conversations with mental health professionals that centres around BFRBs and offers us different ways to understand them. In this episode, Dr Anindita Bhattacharya helps us look at BFRBs through the lens of clinical psychology. How do clinical psychologists make sense of BFRBs? How is it different from OCD or just a bad habit? How do we talk about BFRBs without all the jargon? What does treatment for them look like? Anindita patiently answers all these questions (and more!) So, have a listen and share widely!
Hello! (HINT: involves poor edits and finger guns, how cool!) The podcast is here! Do I know what a podcast really is? Probably not. What I do know is that for the past few months we've been talking to a few people to really get to know BFRBs. So, this podcast, if that's what it is, is a collection of conversations between me, Swarna, and others who are either mental health professionals or fellow BFRB experiencing folx! In this episode, Vani and I talk about some of our experiences BFRBs. We get into my experience growing up with it, how people reacted, and how shame operated in my interactions with my BFRB We also talk about what you can expect from the rest of these series So, listen (or watch!) and share it with anyone you think might find this interesting!
