ESP 018 Knowleaf Meets Podcast: Wellness and Relaxation with Carolina Vasquez of dreamt

The Knowleaf Meets podcast event is an interactive networking experience featuring cannabis industry leaders and members of the cannabis community. In this episode, we interviewed Carolina Vazquez Mitchell, Chief Scientific Officer, of Dreamt.  Carolina is an esteemed cannabis scientist who is one of the 100 million people nationwide that report having difficulty sleeping. While she rarely used cannabis recreationally, Carolina found potential in the emerging scientific evidence supporting the plant's effectiveness at inducing sleep with minimal side effects. Carolina refined the formula to maximize the speed of onset and length of effectiveness, mimicking the characteristics of both inhalants (rapid onset) and edibles metabolized by the liver (slow-release). The result is the culmination of her years of research in chemistry, extensive experience in cannabis science, and her daily battle with insomnia. To date, Carolina has developed more than 50 products for some of the most well-known and widely respected cannabis brands in the industry. She continues to use dreamt to treat her insomnia.

In this episode, we interviewed Chef Rudy Sta Ana Aka Chef Fantabulous. This isn't your typical chef as he uses edible cannabis as an ingredient for his Filipino-inspired dishes. He promotes both medical and recently legalized recreational marijuana. He founded "Cannabis Catered Events" a full-on Catering and Events company that focuses on Chefs and built events centered around the Food first, and Cannabis just happens to be present.
