episode Cultivating Friendships at Work cover

Cultivating Friendships at Work

Do friendships at work really matter? As our organization transitioned to using Gallup for our Associate Engagement Survey (AES), one item caught a lot of attention: "I have a best friend at work." Does this really make a difference? And is this something that our organization and leaders should care about? Gallup’s research would overwhelmingly tell us, “Yes!” In fact, their research shows that if you have a best friend at work, you’re seven times more likely to be highly engaged. In this episode, Jamie Kuhne, Vice President of Care Management, and Emilee Tinapple, Clinical Nurse Manager in Care Management, share their experiences with building and cultivating connection in their professional lives and with the teams they lead and how creating workplace friendships can impact our engagement and well-being.

episode Courageous Conversations cover

Courageous Conversations

Difficult conversations are an inevitable and in some cases, frequent part of leadership. So, what is the best way to prepare for one? And how can you manage the exchange while still preserving the integrity of the relationship? In this episode, we're joined by Tristan Hall, OhioHealth's Chief Human Resources Officer and Libby Daniels, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services for OhioHealth Mansfield and Shelby Hospitals.  They are tackling some of the most frequently asked (but tougher to answer) questions we've received from leaders who have attended our Courageous Conversations program.  Whether it's learning to manage your emotions or preparing to give feedback to a leader above you, hopefully you'll finish the episode with a little less dread and a lot more courage.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
