Les mer Liv in Ten

Liv in Ten is a mini podcast with major feelings. Every week, Liv drops in with either a gentle reminder or an introspective question to make you laugh, think, or spiral (productively). It’s equal parts thoughtful and offbeat — like a voice note from that friend who’s always in your corner, but isn’t afraid to lovingly call you out. For all the human doings craving a pause, a breath, a beat to just be — ten minutes can do wonders (unless you're planking, in which case, godspeed).

Ep 16 - There Is No Ideal Body Blueprint

This episode is basically my love letter to everyone who’s ever felt “not enough” in their body — inspired by Jeff Nippard and Joe Fazer’s latest videos that had me thinking. I talk about what body positivity actually means to me: not condoning unhealthy habits, not pretending everything is perfect… but understanding that real health only happens when you stop punishing your body and start loving the one you’re in right now. Because under-eating, over-eating, over-training — people do these things for reasons we often can’t see. I also get into: ✨ Why we shouldn’t judge bodies so quickly (yes, including fat personal trainers — hi Joe Fazer’s video) ✨ The healthy body fat ranges Jeff discusses and why the “perfect” number is different for everyone ✨ How the traditional way to capture these measurements are kind of inaccurate anyway and can look totally different on different bodies If you’ve ever felt pressured to fit a blueprint that doesn’t exist, this is your sign to pause, breathe, and give your body some grace. Short, real, and a little chaotic — just how we like it. Press play. 💛

Ep 15 - The Hollywood "Skinny" Trend

In this episode, I chat about the latest celebrity trend: getting skinnier faster than I can finish a cup of coffee without reheating it three times. And look—I’m not here to judge anyone in Hollywood. I barely know what’s going on in my own life half the time, never mind theirs. But I am here to talk about how these sudden celebrity weight drops, weight-loss drugs, and “blink and you’re tiny” transformations can make the rest of us feel… well, a little unhinged. Because while celebs are shrinking, the rest of us are just trying to drink water, mind our business, and not spiral over an unflattering photo. So let’s laugh about it, unpack the pressure, and remind ourselves that health is truly wealth. No trend, no body ideal, and no celebrity glow-up is worth more than feeling strong, sane, and at home in our own skin.

episode Ep 14 - From March to Action cover

Ep 14 - From March to Action

This episode explores a heavier and more sensitive topic: gender-based violence in South Africa. It’s not an easy conversation to have — but real, lasting change only happens when we are willing to speak about the difficult things openly, honestly, and without looking away. In the wake of the recent marches and national awareness, I felt called to sit down and reflect on what happens after the hashtags, after the vigils, and after the collective outrage fades. True change is built in the everyday — in how we show up, how we hold others accountable, and how we respond in the moments where silence feels easier but speaking up is necessary. This conversation is close to my heart because, like so many women in South Africa, I carry a daily fear for my own safety — and that should never be our normal. No woman should have to live with that weight. I hope this episode offers a space for reflection, courage, compassion, and a reminder that our actions, big and small, are part of the movement. From marching to meaningful change — it starts with us.

episode Ep 12 - What is "Home"? cover

Ep 12 - What is "Home"?

In this episode, I dive into one of the questions that’s been following me ever since I moved out: What actually is home? Now that I’m living in my flat in Cape Town — but still have my family and all those comforting “home” things back in Joburg — I’ve found myself in a bit of a home identity crisis. Is home where my plants are thriving (barely)? Where my mom’s voice echoes through the hallway? Or is it something completely different? If you’ve been feeling a little lost, homesick, or just confused about where you “belong” — especially during exam season when adulting feels extra heavy — this one’s for you. I even went back home for two weeks to study and, honestly, it helped a lot. So if you’ve been missing home (whatever that means for you), grab a cup of tea, take a study break, and give this a listen.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
