Episode 14- Love Is a Fluffy Weighted Blanket

Episode 14: Love is a fluffy weighted blanket . This episode kicks off with a fun speed round of “this or that” before we settle in and get to know Lisa. She shares about her newfound love of hiking and how it’s deepened her connection to nature, leading us into a beautiful conversation about the art of truly seeing ; And how what we’re learning, feeling, or focusing on shapes the way the world appears to us. Sjeli reflects on how, looking back, Lisa may have been more connected to nature all along, sparking a thoughtful moment between past and present perspectives. We also share some laughs over relatable meme reels about wanting to escape it all, and Lisa gives us a glimpse into her home life with her long-term partner and two cats. From there, the conversation turns inward — Lisa opens up about the worst advice she’s given herself (and received from others), as well as the best advice that’s stuck with her. Together, we explore dreams, déjà vu, premonitions, shared experiences, and the “hive mind.” Kat adds in  a fascinating forager  fun fact about the human eye and evolution. The episode builds to a powerful moment when Lisa shares her definition of love through a spoken word-style reflection that truly leaves us in awe. We close with a few pieces of heartfelt advice from Lisa, with one message ringing clear: Love the world, because the world loves you. episode Episode 13- Love Hertz talks Valentine’s Day: Heart or Hype? cover

Episode 13- Love Hertz talks Valentine’s Day: Heart or Hype?

It’s our Valentine’s episode  This week we unpack all the feelings around Valentine’s Day; The romance, the pressure, the capitalism, the triggers, the red lobster proposals and the “I’m not making a big deal about it” that somehow… makes it a big deal. We share our own Valentine’s stories, talk love languages, new relationships vs. long-term love, and why saying “I love you” never actually gets old. We read your poll answers, introduce Kat’s Quote of the Week and an iconic RuPaul moment, and get honest about forgiveness, effort, symbolism, and the weird ways we show affection (yes… even popping pimples). We also talk about celebrating love beyond romance, invite the seasoned couples to share their secrets, and reflect on the kind of love that lasts; friendship, a desire to understand each other, grace and genuinely liking each other. Plus: a few exciting announcements at the end. Whether you love Valentine’s Day or low-key resent it… this one’s for you. Follow, Share & Subscribe to Love Hertz wherever you get your podcasts! episode Episode 12: New Year, Same Heart cover

Episode 12: New Year, Same Heart

What if the new year isn’t about becoming someone new, but loving more intentionally? In this episode, we talk about the kind of love you put out into the world, and how it comes back to you. We explore using overthinking for good, why happiness is a mindset, and how over-consumerism (especially around the holidays) can pull us away from what really matters. We dive into loving without expectations, love languages, and the way we often love others how wewant to be loved instead of communicating what we need. We unpack the “new year, new me” mindset, share answers from your Instagram polls (plus a question for regular gym goers), and reflect on what 2025 taught us about love and what we’re leaving behind. There’s honest relationship talk, sweet moments with our kids, and yes… a dehydrated SpongeBob impression from Kat. Same heart. Clearer love. episode Episode 11- Recap and Chat with Sjeli & Kat cover

Episode 11- Recap and Chat with Sjeli & Kat

Episode 11: Recap & Chat with Sjeli and Kat This might be our silliest episode yet…and also one of our most reflective. Kat kicks things off with a truly unhinged love math equation, and from there we recap and riff on some of our most thought-provoking recent conversations. We revisit Derek’s episode and unpack the idea of “reframing” ; when it can be helpful, and when it might actually be pretty terrible advice. From there, we reflect on Mike’s episode and dig into conditional vs. unconditional love, how easily we can lose ourselves in relationships, and how our words shape not only how others see people, but how we do too. In the second half, the conversation shifts as Kat opens up about her time spent in a cult, leading into a recap of Episode 10 with Andrew — an episode packed with fascinating, uncomfortable, and deeply insightful moments that linger long after the mic is off. We also get delightfully unserious: sharing the silliest gifts we’ve ever received, swapping the worst advice we’ve been given, and laughing as Sjeli leans fully into the chaos with a silly childhood memory. Kat brings it back down to earth with some bad advice many of us have heard…and maybe even followed. Equal parts silly, honest, and unexpectedly deep, this episode is a little unhinged in the best way. Follow, Share & Subscribe to Love Hertz wherever you get your podcasts! episode Episode 10- Lover of People cover

Episode 10- Lover of People

Episode 10: Lover of People The Love Hertz Pod is back after yet another totally unannounced break; but this time we mean it when we say we’re here to stay (for good, probably). In this episode, we sit down with Andrew: A father, public speaker, and self described lover of people. Andrew and Kat go way back. They first crossed paths at a religion-based facility for teens. Decades later, they reconnected so that Andrew could come talk with us about what love has looked like through every season of his life. Andrew opens up about what love looked like growing up, how it changed through his time in the religious community, and how it’s shifted again through divorce, remarriage, and finally finding something that feels like real love. We also get to hear a bit more of Katrina’s backstory in this one too (which we know you’ve been waiting for). There’s a LOT of good advice, a bit of bad advice, and of course, a brand new definition of love we haven’t heard before.j Follow, Share & Subscribe to Love Hertz wherever you get your podcasts! Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
