Episode 2: Study on NFP experiences of implementing the IHR (Part 2 of 2)

National IHR Focal Points (NFPs) are the designated point of contact between WHO and States Parties concerning urgent communications required under the International Health Regulations (IHR). Given their critical role in the global surveillance and response system supported by the IHR, a study was done in 2019 to assess the experiences and perceptions of NFPs regarding IHR implementation, in order to inform WHO’s efforts to more effectively support them in fulfilling their functions. This second episode is a continuation of the conversation from episode 1 about the 2019 study on the experiences of national IHR focal points in carrying out their functions under the IHR, with two of the primary authors of the study, Dr. Kumanan Wilson, innovation adviser at Bruyere, specialist in general internal medicine and senior scientist at The Ottawa Hospital, and Professor Sam Halabi, senior scholar and Director of the Center for Transformational Health Law at the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University. This episode focuses on the insights of the principal investigators from conducting the study and in relation to the findings of the recent IHR Review Committee on COVID-19. You can download the full-text of the published study at https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34248226/ [https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34248226/] The episode transcript and summary are available at https://extranet.who.int/hslp/training/mod/page/view.php?id=6758  *This two-part podcast was recorded in October 2021.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
