VOYAGE 026 | A Parapsychologists's Comfort in the Unknown with Loyd Auerbach

Excited to welcome Loyd Auerbach, Parapsychologist, author, President of the Forever Family Foundation, and President of the Board of Directors at the Rhine Institute. We dive into the subjects of parapsychology, paranormal investigations, and psychic phenomena. Loyd tells us about a notable case involving a 12-year-old boy who claimed to communicate with the ghost of a previous homeowner named Lois. We dig into the challenges facing parapsychology, including limited funding opportunities and academic bias, as well as the importance of distinguishing between genuine psychic experiences and frauds or entertainers. Loyd's work with the Forever Family Foundation's and certification program for mediums is a huge part of moving forward process after death and dealing with the grief of losing a loved one. Let's dive into the possibility of life after death and what does that even mean. We call it the afterform over here and think that consciousness is the key to understanding the inevitability of eternity when it comes to the survival of spirit. We also discuss the concept of Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC), focusing on direct voice phenomena and its historical roots in early 20th century research. Even though it is no secret that consciousness is a great mystery, but one with enormous implications, we can see that there are very rich and fascinating people and projects based on its study for some not so obvious reasons. I'll reference the book Inside the U.S. Governemnt Covert UFO Program: Initial Revealations by Lacatski, Kelleher and Knapp, along with Angels and Archangels by Damien Echols, Metaphysics by Aristotle, and The Idea of the World by Bernardo Kastrup.
