John | Unity Like the Trinity | April 26
Sermon by Ant Frederick on April 26, 2026. Key scripture: John 17:20-26 Jesus’ final prayer reveals that our unity isn’t optional—it’s central to God’s mission, flowing from His own nature and pointing the world to His love.
John | Kept, Sanctified & Sent | April 19
Sermon by Ant Frederick on April 19, 2026. Key scripture: John 17:6-19 In John 17:6–19, Jesus prays for His followers to navigate a confusing world by being kept, sanctified, and sent. Rather than removing them from the world, He asks the Father to guard them, shape them through His truth, and send them on mission with purpose and confidence. This sermon reminds believers that their identity is secure in Christ—and from that security, they are empowered to live distinctly and missionally where they are.
John | The Hour of Glory | April 12
Sermon by Ant Frederick on April 12, 2026. Key scripture: John 17:1-5 Jesus’ path to the cross redefines glory, showing that through His sacrifice, we are given the greatest gift: a restored relationship with God.
John | Your Sorrow Will Turn to Joy | April 5
Sermon by Ant Frederick on April 5, 2026. Key scripture: John 16:16-22 In John 16 Jesus teaches that the crushing grief of the crucifixion will be supernaturally transformed into the "unsinkable joy" of the resurrection. Using the metaphor of childbirth, Jesus illustrates how the coming renewal of all things in Christ provides a hope so certain and permanent that it can reframe even the most life-altering pains and disappointments.
John | A Life Lit Up By The Spirit | March 29
Sermon by Ant Frederick on March 29, 2026. Key scripture: John 16:5-15 Jesus promised His disciples that the Holy Spirit would not only be with them but would actively work in their lives. In John 16:5-15, Jesus spells out the Spirit's job description — convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, guiding believers into truth, and ultimately pointing us to the glory of Christ. Through three pictures of light, we see a Spirit who diagnoses our deepest problem, lights the path forward, and keeps our eyes fixed on the only One who can save.
