Mercy for Difficult People | P. Julian Gamba

In this message, we learned that true spiritual maturity is not measured by how we treat good people, but by how we respond to difficult people. We all have people in our lives who irritate us, disappoint us, or hurt us. But God calls us to respond with mercy, patience, and grace. Through James 2:13, we learned: “Mercy triumphs over judgment.” In this message we learned: ✨ Mercy looks beyond behavior.  ✨ Hurt people often hurt other people.  ✨ Mercy refuses to live offended.  ✨ True strength is learning to control our emotions.  ✨ We are called to extend the same grace we have received from God.  ✨ Mercy refuses gossip and unnecessary conflict.  ✨ Jesus is our model of mercy. 👉 Mercy forgives faster, speaks less, loves more, and responds like Jesus.

In this message, we learned that one of the hardest places to show mercy is often in our own home. Mercy is not just a feeling, it is love in action. God calls us to reflect that love in our families through patience, kindness, and forgiveness. Through 1 Corinthians 13, we learned that real love is not easily angered, keeps no record of wrongs, and chooses grace even in moments of conflict and frustration. In this message we learned: ✨ Mercy is love in action.  ✨ Real love is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs.  ✨ We are called to overlook irritations and offenses.  ✨ There is a righteous anger and an unrighteous anger.  ✨ Hurt people often hurt other people.  ✨ Mercy responds with patience and kindness.  ✨ Kindness is an act of worship. 👉 God does not call us to give people what they deserve, but to reflect the mercy He has shown us.

Mercy is not weakness. It is divine strength in action. 💛 “The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.”  — Psalm 145:8 Throughout this series, we’re talking about Unbreakable Faith, and today we learned that one of the clearest expressions of that faith is mercy. Mercy is not just something God does… it is who He is. And if we follow Jesus, it should define us too. In this message we learned: ✨ Mercy is love in action  ✨ Mercy is not a feeling, it’s a decision  ✨ Forgiveness withholds punishment  ✨ Compassion gives undeserved kindness “The Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love…”  — Exodus 34:6 “Mercy triumphs over judgment.”  — James 2:13 👉 If we show mercy, we receive mercy  👉 Mercy always wins over judgment 5 signs of a merciful life: ✨ I forgive those who have hurt me  — Colossians 3:13 ✨ I help those who are hurting  — James 2:15–17 ✨ I am patient with difficult people  — 1 Thessalonians 5:14 ✨ I show kindness even to my enemies  — Luke 6:27–28 ✨ I care for the spiritually lost  — John 3:16 Mercy begins when we receive it from God… and allow it to transform our hearts. God does not leave anything unfinished. What He starts in your life, He will complete. “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”  Ephesians 3:20 Sometimes we look for a quick answer, a miracle, or a temporary solution, but God is working on something much greater: His purpose in us. In this message we learned: ✨ God starts the work even when we don’t understand it.  ✨ The silence reveals whether we know God or only seek His blessings.  ✨ God doesn’t just want to bless us, He wants us to know Him.  ✨ Everything God starts, He finishes. “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.”  Genesis 22:8 Abraham did not have all the answers, but he knew the character of God. In the middle of the process, he discovered Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 1:6 👉 God is not committed to our plans, He is committed to His purpose.  👉 It is not just about receiving a miracle, it is about knowing the God who does miracles.  👉 Keep walking, keep praying, keep trusting. Faith in the Fire | Max Porter

Faith is not built when the fire comes. It is formed long before, in the daily decisions that shape our identity in God. In this message, we were reminded that the real battle often begins before the visible trial, and that what we allow into our lives influences who we become. Through the story of Daniel and his friends, we learned that faith in the fire is not just about surviving hardship. It is about being affirmed in it. God may not always keep us from the fire, but He is always with us in it, using it to reveal His character and strengthen who we are in Him. In this message, we learned that: ✨ We exist to reveal God’s character, and faith is the foundation of our relationship with Him. ✨ The battle starts before the fire, and what we consume shapes our identity. ✨ Faith that stands in public is built first in private. ✨ God does not always keep us from the fire, but He goes with us through it. ✨ The fire can become the place where the world loses its hold on us. ✨ Our identity in Christ gives us the strength to remain firm no matter what we face.
