Hiking Mount Fuji with Jenna

As we drank our iced matchas together at a park, I talk story with Jenna, a 24-year-old architecture student at the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa as she shares about her recent experience of traveling to Japan to hike Mount Fuji. She reflects on the journey to the summit and the sense of pride and confidence she felt when she reached the top, along with lessons she learned along her descent. She also shares about recently being diagnosed with a disease which has shifted her perspective on life and inspired her to pursue her dreams and experience life to the fullest.
