Why Clean The Window You'll Never Look Out Of Again?

In this episode I ponder on the thoughts regarding a question I was asked that boiled down to why perform 'long-term' behaviours in a short term situation. This often comes from the frame of perspective that the 'other' is benefiting more, or simply at all, in any engagement where the individual will in the near future lose access. Irritation As A Reframing Opportunity

As of recent I've been inundated in my part of the internet of people being irritated (or triggered in gen z speak) expressing deep irritation e.g. with tax reform. First it is easy for me to notice irritation in others as opposed to myself (self reflection is hard) and secondly, regardless of whether I was in (partial) agreement or not with their viewpoints, I found this to be rather ugly. Having recently read the 'Art of Happiness' by the Dalai Lama I reflect in this episode on situations where I have been the one who has been irritated and take this as an opportunity to reframe these irritations.
