mysteria is a term that refers to a collection of people in ancient Rome whose "beliefs and practices negotiated the initiated with the timeless truths of the cosmos and extended salvation from the deities who embodied these eternal verities." We are a podcast that seeks to wrestle these same timeless truths through "those tangible and visible realities of this world that speak of eternal truths, and symbolically represent them." You may call it art, you may call it sacraments, you may even call it a meal- whatever that thing is that you use to see more clearly the wonderful mystery that is God, that is what we want to talk about.
