EP 58 - 'White Nanny, Black Child' (pt 2 of 2): Kunle Kaffo & Ore Kaffo

'White Nanny, Black Child' is a documentary about West African children (many Nigerian) who were privately fostered by White British families in a practice known as 'farming'. The documentary won the 2024 BAFTA Television Award for Specialist Factual amongst other awards. It is believed that over 70,000 West African children were 'farmed' between 1950s - 1990; some of the children returned to their families and sadly some did not. My guests Kunle & Ore Kaffo featured in the documentary and graciously agreed to share their story with me in this very interesting episode, listen in and share your thoughts in the comments. Ore has written a book about her experience called 'Knocked 4 Six: Going from Hopeless to Hopeful' which can be purchased on Amazon using the link below: https://amzn.eu/d/0hXqLdeq 'White Nanny, Black Child' documentary is still available to watch in the United Kingdom on Channel 5 until 2027.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
