Let's get strange, baby - today's episode of the Movie Quest podcast focuses on 2016's Doctor Strange [https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1211837/]! I'm not sure whether I'm shocked or not, but (SPOILER) this was Julianne's favorite MCU film so far, and she rated it an astounding 9.5 Cummerbunds! In addition to this rating, Julianne and I ask critical questions like: * Was Joaquin Phoenix almost cast ad Dr. Strange? * Was the role of The Ancient One whitewashed when they cast Tilda Swinton? * What's the deal with Stephen and Christine? * What is the Mirror World? * Is Dormammu a dragon? It would seem that Julianne's only criticism of the film is that they didn't show Dr. Strange bargaining with Dormammu enough - Apparently she wanted truly endless loops. YA HEAR THAT, DERRICKSON!?!?
