Breaking with Brooke is a series on Overkillers Podcast where we keep you up to date on everything true crime. Updates have occurred in May 2026 in a case of missing 6 year old Noel Rodrigez-Alvarez. Back on March 20th 2023 in Everman, Texas, Everyman police were contacted by the CPS investigative team about Noel. They told police that family members had begun to contact them stating that they hadn’t seen the 6 year old since November 2022.
By March 25th, a warrant was issued for his mother Cindy Rodrigez Singh’s arrest. An Amber alert was issued for her son. The entire family, including Noel, his 7 siblings and his mother and stepfather Arshdeep Singh were now missing. By 9pm, 5 days after the welfare check, police would learn that the family had boarded a flight to Turkey, then they believed they headed to India based on internet searches. However, the entire family wasn’t on the flight, Noel wasn’t with them. He was then given an endangered missing persons alert.
For the next 3 years, the case went cold. Cindy was placed on the FBI's Most Wanted list, found in India and arrested. Then, in May 2026, during a search of the family home, human remains were found under the patio in the backyard of the family home. These remains were identified as Noel.
