I'm a pastor, dad, husband, and child of God. I'm broken, but blessed. The cracks are where the Light shines through. My mission is to help people grow closer to God with every breath and step I take. I gave my life to Christ at an early age and have grown closer through the years, spurred on by the study of the Bible, my church family, and the Chrysalis and Walk to Emmaus Communities. I accepted the call to full -time ministry as a pastor in 1999 and have served 4 different churches in Georgia. Music, preaching, and teaching are the heart of my ministry. Outside of the pulpit, I enjoy many hobbies that help me blow off steam. These include martial arts, woodworking, blacksmithing, gardening, cooking, and being creative. I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. My philosophy is use what you have, do it yourself if you can, learn something in the process, and have lots of fun. This channel is a place to share it all with you.
Let the River Flow
I wrote this song drawing on the imagery of the River of Life in Revelation 22:1–2 and Ezekiel 47:1, 9, inspired by a mission project called River of Life that I’ve been part of over the years. In this ministry, youth and adults come together to serve our community by providing free home repairs for those in need. As we work side by side—painting, building, and helping our neighbors—we experience and share the love of God in a very real and tangible way. Through simple acts of service, the “river” of God’s mercy and grace flows into homes, hearts, and lives. This ministry has made a lasting impact—not only on those who are served, but also on those who serve.

Looking for the Living Among the Dead | An Easter Sermon on Luke 24:1-12
In this Easter message, I walk through the story of the empty tomb in Luke 24 and focus on the angel’s question, “Why are you looking for the living among the dead?” I challenge both skeptics and believers to consider what the resurrection really means—not just as something to believe, but as a truth that should transform how we think and live. Ultimately, I invite people to stop looking for life in the empty things of this world and to follow the risen Jesus, where true life is found.
Jesus Arrives in Jerusalem | A Sermon on Luke 19:28-40
In this Palm Sunday message from Luke 19:28–40, I explore Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and challenge us to receive Him not on our terms, but as Lord of our lives.
The Sun
Positive hopeful vibes spring forth from this folksy blues song with rhythmic guitar and soulful harmonica. I wrote this song the first morning while on vacation while sitting on the deck of a cruise ship in the quiet morning. The song embodied my hopes for the week--time away after a busy season of life. We all need to get a way for a little bit--even if it's just a walk in the park from time to time. These restful times refresh us and remind us of the wonder of life.
