Portage Road History: The Colonial Frontier

Portage Road History: The Colonial Frontier explores the stories of the colonial frontier of the North America. This podcast is based at the Fort LeBoeuf Museum in Waterford, Pa which sits at the site of the French Fort built in 1753. Our location puts us squarely in the middle of territory that would be claimed by the French, British, and Native American empires. I will be delving into a wide variety of stories from the colonial frontier of North America, primarily those of the Great Lakes region.
