While many are familiar with the Ezekiel 38 coalition, the Book of Jeremiah contains a specific, often overlooked prophecy regarding the fate of Elam. This video explores the geopolitical movements currently unfolding and how they might align with the scriptures found in Jeremiah 49. The prophet Jeremiah spoke of a day when the bow of Elam would be broken, leading to a military collapse, a global dispersion of its people, and a significant political overthrow. We look at current events, including the reported state of Iran’s military capabilities and the vast diaspora of the Iranian people, to see if the stage is being set for these biblical events. Our goal is not to declare that these specific headlines are the definitive fulfillment of Jeremiah 49, but rather to observe how current trends in the Middle East are readying the world for the return of Jesus Christ. We examine the four key predictions made by the prophet: The collapse of military might. The scattering of the population to the four winds. The removal of the king and princes. By examining the “Technate Map of America”—a blueprint first published in 1940 by Howard Scott—we see a vision for a unified North America that predates modern globalist initiatives but mirrors them with unsettling accuracy. From a conservative, evangelical perspective, we know that nothing in history happens outside of God’s sovereign timeline. This update dives into the origins of Technocracy, an “America First” movement from the 1930s that sought to merge the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean into a single, self-sustaining entity. We even look at the strategic roles assigned to places like Venezuela and Greenland within this historical map and how those same regions remain at the center of contemporary geopolitical conversations today. The connection to Bible prophecy becomes clear when we look at the work of the Club of Rome. In the 1970s, this influential think tank proposed dividing the world into ten distinct regions. For students of the Word, this immediately brings to mind the prophecies found in the books of Daniel and Revelation. Specifically, Revelation 17 predicts a period during the Great Tribulation where ten kings will rule over ten kingdoms, eventually giving their power over to the Antichrist. While these secular organizations and historical figures may not realize they are laying the groundwork for a biblical reality, the “underpinnings” of a ten-region global system are becoming increasingly visible. We also briefly touch on the interesting historical links between current technological leaders and these technocratic ideals, noting how the push for a cashless society and centralized efficiency fits into the prophetic puzzle. As Calvary Chapel believers, our focus remains on the “blessed hope.” We believe the Church will be raptured before the Antichrist ascends to power and the Tribulation begins. The trends we see in the news today are not a cause for fear, but a reminder to be ready. The stage is being set, and the return of Jesus Christ is drawing near. As we continue our verse-by-verse study of the Bible and keep a watchful eye on global trends, it becomes increasingly clear that the infrastructure for a centralized, digital commerce system is being built right before our eyes. From a Calvary Chapel perspective, we approach these developments not with a spirit of fear, but with biblical discernment. When we see membership scanners, digital QR codes for entry, and the rollout of scan-and-pay systems, we recognize a familiar pattern. Revelation 13 describes a future period during the Great Tribulation where access to buy and sell is strictly controlled by a unified, digital authorization. While technology itself is neutral, these modern conveniences are lowering the resistance of the general public to systems of total oversight. We also consider the rise of Artificial Intelligence and digital avatars in light of the “image of the beast” mentioned by the Apostle John. For centuries, the idea of a speaking image that exercises authority seemed symbolic or impossible. Today, with the advancement of AI and machines that simulate human personality, we can see exactly how such a prophecy could be realized. This update emphasizes that while we aren’t suggesting a specific retailer is fulfilling prophecy, we are certainly seeing the “birth pains” of a coming system. As believers in Jesus Christ, our focus remains on the blessed hope of the Rapture. Jesus told His followers to watch and be ready. Welcome back to our ongoing Bible study series where we examine current global events and geopolitical trends through the lens of Bible prophecy. This is Prophecy Update #833, and as a Calvary Chapel ministry, we believe in teaching the Word of God with a literal interpretation, seeing God’s truth unfold in our headlines. The Surge of Technology and Globalism The technological infrastructure necessary for the end times prophecies is rapidly converging. We discuss the stunning initiative by the Department of Energy, aptly named the “Genesis Mission,” which combines supercomputers, vast scientific data, and breakthrough AI systems into a single powerful platform. Concurrently, the rise of “real-time translation” technology threatens to dismantle language barriers, shrinking the world into one global village. We examine the disturbing arrogance reflected in naming these projects—claiming to “rewrite the ending” of the Tower of Babel—and how such developments directly promote globalism and pave the way for a powerful leader to emerge, confirming the prophetic warnings in the book of Revelation. Prophetic Signposts and The Time of Noah We discuss how renowned author Randy Kay analyzed biblical prophecy frameworks alongside modern events, including Daniel’s 70 weeks, the fig tree generation in Matthew 24, and the miraculous 1948 rebirth of Israel. His analysis points to the most plausible window for the Tribulation Period occurring between 2028 and 2032. The looming reality of Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) and the ethical crisis of genetically engineered babies further indicate humanity’s desire to attain godhood, a theme we expect from Scripture. Perhaps most remarkably, we look at the potential discovery of Noah’s Ark in Turkey’s Durupinar Formation. Jesus Christ Himself said the End Times would be “as it was in the days of Noah.” What stronger prophetic sign could there be than the literal confirmation of the Ark? Keep Looking Up: Hope in Jesus Christ We realize the sheer speed of global surveillance networks, digital currencies, and the framework for the Mark of the Beast in Revelation 13 can be unsettling. However, we are not called to be anxious. God has given us the outline and the ending! The Church will be raptured, the Time of Jacob’s Trouble will prepare Israel to accept Jesus as Messiah, and the Lord returns in His Second Coming to establish His Millennial Kingdom on Earth.
