Todays show starts with Nas & Damian Marley - Leaders, this song is an ode to all the leaders in the black community. In the first verse, Nas praises and raps about the style of an un-named leader. Count Your Blessings is the 2nd song in a twin spin from the album Distant Relatives its a collaborative studio album by American rapper Nas and Jamaican reggae vocalist Damian Marley. It was released on May 18, 2010, by Universal Republic and Def Jam Recordings. The album is Nas' 10th and Marley's fourth studio album at the time of the release , respectively. Distant Relatives was recorded between 2008 and 2010, being produced primarily by Damien and Stephen Marley. Fusing musical elements of hip hop and reggae, it features lyrical themes concerning ancestry, poverty, and the plight of Africa. Damián Currently enjoys sold out success on his Jam Rock Cruise that has been leaving from Ft Lauderdale to Montego Bay for the last 6 years. Peter even in death lives in the shadow of Bob Marley's light sometimes I think that he was the more talented of the two. 2ND SET BLACK UHURU PLASTIC SMILE On the Sly and Robbie produced Chicago 84 album. Not a 100 % on that? I do know what UHURU Means in Swahili It means Freedom. Then Beres Hammond Groovy Little Thing how many great tunes does Beres have ?? No words can express how talented he is! I like to Bragg about VIP backstage access to Beres Hammond at a show in St Petersburg Florida Back 2007 or so.
