Our Worship

Resurrection People-Our Worship Speaker: Pastor Kelly J. Tam Scripture: Revelation 1:17–18a The resurrection of Jesus leads us to worship a presence. 17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! —Revelation 1:17-18a 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. —Matthew 22:37-38 1. Worship with our hearts means we have honest grief and joyful praise. 2. Worship with our body means our whole being praises and declares the King. 3. episode Our Walk cover

Our Walk

Resurrection People-Our Walk Speaker: Pastor Angela Luk Scripture: Romans 6:1-14 Big Idea: The resurrection is not merely a past event we celebrate but a present power we inhabit. Because Jesus is alive, we are called to walk in a fundamentally new kind of humanity — one that is being renewed from the inside out. 1. The Resurrection Redefines Identity 2. The Resurrection Breaks the Power of Sin 3. The Resurrection Gives Hope to Our Struggle The Walk of a Resurrected People 1. We do not seek to trade on the mercy of God and to make it an excuse for sinning. 2. Those who follow Christ are committed to a different walk of life. 3. There is more than a mere ethical change in our lives when we accept Christ. There is a real identification with Christ as Resurrection People. Application • If you have not yet been baptized, consider taking the next step in your faith journey! • Keep a journal of your spiritual journey as you become more like Christ each day.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
