Welcome to another episode with the guys. Today the guys continue last week's conversation touching on topics related to men and their tendencies and what women might not know or understand. The guys give us this weeks numbers for the wellness check. We start with Yohan's rating (3:32) followed by Oscar's scores for the week (4:50) and Oscar brings us his questions of the day (5:46) "Based on the Inside Out Movies, what do you think about the concept and which emotion do you resonate with the most. Following this we get into the first point of discussion (17:43): A man says "I had a situation in which my fiancé's mother told her, men only have two emotions - rage and horny." Second Point of Discussion (32:50): "Hobbies are not just for fun, they keep us sane." Lastly. Yohan ends the episode with his own question of the day from one of our viewers: "Hey guys Should I leave my church? I've been in this church for 7-8 years now serving and as of late i've noticed they have been very incompetent with the matters of the soul and keeping the flock. I've talked to other people about this and have gotten mixed responses. Some say 'You are in charge of your spiritual life' While others say 'if I leave, I'll set a precedence that church hopping is a good thing'. What should I do?" Welcome to another episode with the guys. Today the guys continue touching on topics related to men and their tendencies, but before that we get a funny interaction on hospital visits and Oscar's odd experience with a possible heart attack (1:00 - 5:00). We switch over to the tried and true wellness check. We start with Yohan's rating (6:50). We follow the guys into a short segment about how we live our lives day to day without thinking or speaking to God (7:20). Oscar gives us his wellness score (11:47) and then we get into the topic of the day, starting with how God does care about the little things including our physical health. The guys discuss how men feel about compliment from women and from their peers (25:06). Guys also touch on the differences between men and women and different 'privileges' and 'double standards' between men and women (32:39). The next point the guys touch is men and the perception men feel they have and society has on men when it comes to domestic violence (35:12). The guys also go in depth about the trauma and experiences that men and women suffer as a result of the current skewed outlook on DV. Last and final point refers to men and how they feel having to step up in uncomfortable and/or dangerous situations (47:18). Both Oscar and Yohan also share personal experiences. Welcome to another episode of Stay Uncomfortable. For this episode the boys touch on tendencies and habits as well as some good advice for Men and their mental health following Men's Mental Health month. Before the Q&A, we dive into a conversation about Faith and the nature of difficult times being the catalyst for more faith. Q&A: 1. (24:47) "Hey guys! Thanks to one of your videos I recently gave my life to Jesus. I thought it was the best decision ever, until I started to have issues at home. My wife and I have always been in the Miami night-life scene, in fact, that's where we met. She keeps dragging me back there and I truly don't want to. She's gone to church with me a couple times, but has recently decided she no longer wants to go. Any Advise?" 2. (43:55) "Hey ya'll. I am a believer that is struggling with a severe Porn Addiction. I've heard you two talk about it, but I'm really at my wits-end with this. What can I do to get rid of this?" 3. (1:02:40) "Hey fellas! Recently my wife has not been submissive and has been challenging my authority at home. She questions everything I do and listens to everyone else except me. Welcome to another installment of Stay Uncomfortable. The guys start out today's Episode discussing their weeks and a brief discussion on Probability & Stats and the lottery. Oscar gives us his weekly Wellness check (3:00) and Yohan gives us his wellness check rundown at (3:50). Oscar brings us the question of the day (4:15)- "What are two things that you are struggling with right now? One in the Spiritual/Christian sense and one in the physical sense? Yohan talks about his spiritual struggle and going back to his first love with God (4:36) and the aspects of church hurt (6:19), aspects that he a failed at within his tenure in ministry and his lack of true commitment to God at times (7:30). Yohan also touches on his physical struggle with dieting and his journey with committing to healthy habits (13:30). Oscar gives us similar insight into his personal spiritual struggle and his difficulty with dedicating time to God and being intentional with a routine to meet and speak with God (19:23). Oscar also touches on his struggles with his 'EGO' as a tenured Christian and how he prays to God regarding this topic before we get into the topic of the day (22:00). Uncomfortable Truths About the Faith: 1. Religious Activism is not the same as communion with Christ (30:40). 2. There are people who pray & fast more to rebuke the devil, than to know God (42:45). 3. If you have to go to the Wilderness to find God's presence, you probably don't have an established routine to find God in your home (50:45). 4. There are people who pray & read the bible more to minister than to be nurtured (56:50). 5. The people who attend church the most during the week, are the least to manifest transformation (1:06:20).
