Happy Tuesday everyone, I hope you've all had a nice start to your week and had a great weekend. It's been a bloody busy past few days for me filled with footy, footy and more footy. Very lucky for what I get to do and it has brought upon so many wonderful opportunities. One of those opportunities was getting to connect with someone from the AFL world in the development space and I heard something from this person that just resonated me with and is something that can apply to all of us. "Don't get bored of the basics" We are all capable of achieving great things but we all want it to happen so fast and generally, what seperates the best from the rest, is that fact that the greats don't get bored of the basics. They do the little things time and time again and fall in love with the process, no matter how long it takes. So I just wanted to share that chunk of gold with you all and hope it can help you in your pursuit of greatness in whatever walk of life you're from. Extra Sauce | Ep. 36 | Onya Brus!

Happy Monday, I hope you all had a nice weekend and are taking it easy at work today or are just relaxing if you have the day off. Another shoutout this week to someone who has excelled on the sporting field this past weekend. My brother Johann, or "Yoey", as he is more commonly known, has had a successful time on the footy field at the SA Country Footy Champs down in Victor Harbour representing the Eyre Peninsula. He has had a bloody good footy career and at the ripe old age of 33, he was the leading goal kicker for the carnival and has been named in the team of the carnival as well. Hopefully you have earnt another selection to the SA Country State Team after your efforts. Really proud of you brus, keep on doing what you're doing and making those around you better and fingers crossed we get to see you on Adelaide Oval again in a couple weeks! Slight delay to this weeks Extra Sauce but I was caught up on the phone having a chat to my best mate, Billy Lawrence, this morning. Grateful for my best mate checking in on me! In this week's episode, I wanted to highlight some amazing people who have reach the top of the footy mountain here in SA over the weekend. Jas Smith, Shae Archbold, Layla Vizgaudis and Tiff King have all played in 2024 SANFLW Premiership for South Adelaide on Saturday and I couldn't be prouder of them. Excellent reward for all your hard work, absolutely stoked for you and I'm sure there is plenty more success for all of you to come. Extra Sauce | Ep. 33 | Men's Mental Health Week

Mental health has been a common topic on this podcast. Guests have opened up about their struggles and I've shared some stories and strategies regarding my mental health on many of these weekly episodes. This week's episode is no different as it's Men's Mental Health Week. Whilst these weeks are excellent in shining a light on the facts and figures, they mean next to fuck all if we don't take action and actually check in on our mates and loved ones. So, this week, I challenge you to be the change. Go and catch up with a mate. Have a coffee, kick the footy and actually have a meaningful yarn with someone you care about. You never know, you may just save a life.
