We Just Talked

Hey everyone!  Long story short....this week we kind of just talked. We talked about the state of things and how we perceive them. We ended up having some really insightful discussions (hence the 2 hour run time!) Listen in spurts, listen straight through. What is Nationalism?

WELCOME BACKKKKKKK TO THE SECOND SEASON OF THE BLACK AND WHITE PODCAST!!!!!!!!!! Chase, Zach, and AK take on the difficult topic of Nationalism with a sprinkle of Patriotism. What even is Nationalism? Do we define it differently here than other countries do? Is it legitimate? Or is it a guise for racism, oppression, and other various forms of oppressive language or actions? We try to unpack that in this weeks episode.  We also discuss the Pledge of Allegiance as Zach mentions the fact that his son says the pledge every day at school. Do you think it is something that should be taught? Do you know what the words of the Pledge of Allegiance actually mean? Stimulus?

Welcome back everyone! This week we discuss what happens next... a new stimulus package? What did you do with you stimulus funds last time? We also take some time to discuss how we evaluate Presidential Candidates and if it makes sense to continue our current election strategy.  We then go on to discuss the impact COVID 19 has had on our country and the future of small business in America. Does it make sense that CEOs and Billionaires are bailing out businesses before the Federal Government does? Give us your thoughts! We wont be recording our next episode this week with Christmas in full swing but look forward to diving head first in to what is hopefully a much better year in 2021! Mental Health

LONG TIME NO SEE!!!!!  This week - we wanted to remind everyone that it is okay to not feel okay. But what isnt okay is ignoring those feelings or pretending like they dont exist. Zach, AK, and Chase have each had their own personal experiences with depression, anxiety, or a variety of mental health troubles. This was the opportunity for us to discuss them openly and give each of you the comfort of knowing you arent alone in feeling this way sometimes.  We hope each of you takes the time to listen this week and feels confident and comfortable knowing that you have resources in us to talk to.
