My name is Victoria Patch Williams and I am a teacher, mother, and proud black woman. I know that when I feel my happiest and healthiest I am well-connected to my community and those I love, so I want to get to know people in my tribe or village better. We are all surrounded by deep wells of knowledge but we rarely take the time and space to intentionally learn from them. Twice a month I have discussions with members of my tribe. The topics of conversations will range from parenthood, relationships, education, identity, and more all with a focus on the black experience.
