Les mer The Breathe to Birth Podcast

Welcome to the Breathe to Birth Podcast. A space for real, honest and empowering conversations about pregnancy, birth and beyond. I’m Chloe - Hypnobirthing Teacher, Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher, and X-Hail Meditation Instructor. I started this podcast because I’m a little bit obsessed with all things birth, and I truly believe how we talk about birth matters. Here, you’ll hear positive birth stories, personal reflections, and conversations with guests who share my passion for supporting women and birthing people through pregnancy and birth. We’ll explore the things that really contribute to a positive birth experience. From how we prepare, to how we feel supported, to how we trust our bodies and ourselves. And we’ll also hold space for the fact that birth can be unpredictable, layered and complex, and that all stories matter here. My hope is that this is a space where you feel supported, inspired and reminded of your own strength as you approach the birth of your baby, and to hold the belief that birth can be positive, powerful and transformative, whatever it looks like. Here’s to more honest conversations, more shared stories, and more women feeling strong, supported and empowered in birth.

episode S2: Ep01 - Rethinking Birth Plans & Preferences cover

S2: Ep01 - Rethinking Birth Plans & Preferences

In this episode of the Breathe to Birth Podcast, Chloe explores why birth plans and preferences matter. Not as rigid checklists or guarantees, but as a way to feel informed, involved and supported in your birth. Chloe shares why birth plans aren’t about controlling how birth unfolds, but about understanding your options, communicating what matters to you, and feeling able to take an active role in decision-making as labour progresses. She reflects on how preparation, clarity, and flexibility can change how birth feels, even when things don’t go exactly as expected. This episode is an invitation to rethink birth plans as a tool for confidence and self-trust, rather than something that can “fail” if birth takes a different path.   In this episode, you’ll hear about: * Why birth plans are often misunderstood * The difference between a rigid plan and meaningful preferences * How birth plans can support calm and confidence in labour * Practical tips for writing birth preferences that feel realistic and supportive * How knowing your options can help you feel more involved in your birth   If this episode resonated with you, please like, follow, or subscribe to the podcast so you don’t miss future episodes of Breathe to Birth.   Connect with Chloe: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/breathetobirth [https://www.instagram.com/breathetobirth] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chloesenabreathetobirth [https://www.facebook.com/chloesenabreathetobirth] Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/calmconnectedmamas [https://www.facebook.com/groups/calmconnectedmamas] Email: chloe@chloesena.com   Work with Chloe: Explore Breathe to Birth Yoga, The 3Cs Birth Method, or enquire about bespoke 1:1 birth preparation support via email or by sending Chloe a message on Instagram.   Disclaimer: The views shared in this podcast are personal experiences and are for informational and educational purposes only. episode S1: Ep08 - Jess & Dilly's Birth Story - A Fast & Empowering First Birth cover

S1: Ep08 - Jess & Dilly's Birth Story - A Fast & Empowering First Birth

In this episode, Chloe is joined by Jess, who shares the story of her first birth with baby Dilly. A powerful, fast labour that unfolded very differently from what she had imagined… yet was still a positive experience. Jess talks openly about how she prepared, the mindset work that grounded her during pregnancy, and how self-trust helped her navigate a birth that moved quickly and far outside the lines of her original plan. She also reflects on the tools and understanding that made the biggest difference and why positive birth isn’t about everything going “to plan,” but about feeling involved, informed, and connected to yourself and your body as things unfold.   In this episode, you’ll hear: * How Jess prepared for her first birth * The mindset shifts that shaped her confidence * What helped her stay centred during an unexpectedly fast labour * Why her birth felt positive, even when it didn’t look like the plan * The role self-trust and simple tools played in her experience   Connect with Chloe: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/breathetobirth [https://www.instagram.com/breathetobirth] Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chloesenabreathetobirth [https://www.facebook.com/chloesenabreathetobirth] Community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/calmconnectedmamas [https://www.facebook.com/groups/calmconnectedmamas] Email: chloe@chloesena.com   Work with Chloe: Explore The 3Cs Birth Method or enquire about bespoke 1:1 birth preparation support via email or drop Chloe a message on Instagram.   Disclaimer: The views shared in this podcast are personal experiences and are for informational purposes only. episode S1: Ep07 - Laura & Luke's Birth Story - A Positive Induction cover

S1: Ep07 - Laura & Luke's Birth Story - A Positive Induction

In this episode, Laura shares the birth story of her son, Luke - a powerful and uplifting example of how an induction can be a positive experience when you feel informed, supported, and actively involved in your choices. After spending quite a bit of time in and out of hospital during the last few weeks, Laura navigated a lot of uncertainty leading up to birth. When induction became the recommended option, she drew on her preparation, her understanding of her choices, and the tools she’d learned to stay grounded and connected to herself throughout the process. Although her labour involved moments of intensity and shifting plans, Laura’s ability to advocate for what felt right for her is what shaped her experience as positive. You’ll hear about: • How Laura managed the uncertainty of repeated hospital visits • What helped her trust herself when plans changed • How she advocated for her needs during her induction • The tools that supported her through intense moments • Why, in her words, feeling involved made all the difference   This is such a reassuring and empowering listen, especially if induction is part of your birth journey or something you’re exploring.   Connect with Chloe: Instagram: www.instagram.com/breathetobirth Facebook: www.facebook.com/chloesenabreathetobirth Calm Connected Mamas Community: www.facebook.com/groups/calmconnectedmamas Email: chloe@chloesena.com   Work with Chloe: Explore The 3Cs Birth Method or enquire about bespoke 1:1 birth preparation support via email or drop Chloe a message on Instagram.   Disclaimer: This podcast shares personal experiences and perspectives. Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
