The Lunar Gates of the Fire Horse Year

Title: The Lunar Gates of the Fire Horse Year The 2026 Lunar New Year ushers in the Year of the Fire Horse—a high-speed cycle of intensity, independence, and decisive movement. In this episode, we map out the year’s "Lunar Gates," treating every New and Full Moon as a specific checkpoint for manifestation, spiritual testing, and material mastery. We open the year with a "Boss" activation on an 8♦️ (Eight of Diamonds) day, setting a heavy tone for power and authority. From the "delusional faith" required by the recurring 7♠️ (Seven of Spades) tests to the political and collective wish-fulfillment potential of the 9❤️ (Nine of Hearts), this is a year that refuses to stay stagnant. Key highlights in this transmission: The Fire Horse Frequency: Why 2026 is a year of "pressure vs. inspiration." The 15 Unique Card Activations: Tracking the specific card frequencies of each lunation. Spiritual Trials & Material Rewards: Navigating the "7 of Spades" portals and "Ace of Diamonds" wealth gates. Collective Wish Fulfillment: Why the November Full Moon in Gemini could signal major shifts for the African Diaspora and the political landscape. How to use this guide: Whether you are tracking your personal life spread or looking at the collective horizon, use these gates as a roadmap. Align your intentions with the specific "Card of the Day" to navigate the Fire Horse energy with authority and grace. The Anatomy of a Sacred Shed

*Audio Disclaimer: My newest coworker is an infant who occasionally sounds like a tiny velociraptor. If you hear him in the background of this recording, just know he’s helping me track the cycles. Read Part 1 For The Bigger Picture [Here] [https://open.substack.com/pub/queendaddysaturn/p/before-the-gallop-reflections-from?r=1cyply&utm_medium=ios&shareImageVariant=poster] Last year, on March 28th, I ran an experiment. I knew the following day was a Seven of Clubs (7♣️) day—the frequency of viral information and influence—and that it coincided with a New Moon. I watched the thread climb to 86.8k views in real-time. To the outside world, it was “virality.” To me, it was a data point. I was displacing the Seven of Clubs (7♣️) all year; I was simply sitting in the seat I had already been assigned. The engagement numbers followed the math: 1,478 total interactions, a subtle angel number signal of building foundations. The Cards Made Me Do It is a reader-supported publication. The 10 of Hearts: Social Success vs. Soular Success During that viral peak, I was in my Jupiter period: the Ten of Hearts (10♥️). This is the card of widespread connection and social success, but it is also the card of the Large Family. At the time, this card was quietly narrating the story of the life already forming in my womb. I didn’t know then that my son would be born on a Ten of Hearts (10♥️) day—his literal birth card. The universe used the public “noise” to affirm a private, fertile miracle, moving our family from four to five and fulfilling the “Large Family” prophecy of the Ten of Hearts (10♥️). The Venus Week & The Queen of Hearts That same week was my Venus week, ruled by the Queen of Hearts (Q♥️)—the card of the socialite, but more importantly, the Mother. My transformation card at the time was the Four of Clubs (4♣️), MY card of fame and visibility. The fertility energy was undeniable. I was being “seen” by the world (4♣️) while being transformed into the Mother (Q♥️) once again. The Triple 9: Oya’s Signature and the Ancestral Handoff As a daughter of Oya, the number 9 is the biggest significance I hold. It is the frequency of the marketplace, the wind, and the transition between life and death. Looking back, I see a Triple 9 cycle that ushered in a fated reconstruction of my lineage: • Nine of Hearts (9♥️) (Wish Fulfillment/Grief): I was pushed forward by this card all year before my birthday in September. It brought the “Wish” of my third child, but it arrived through the “Shedding” of grieving a soon-to-be ancestor. • The Handoff: Around the time I conceived, my grandmother—my Two of Diamonds (2♦️) Karma Card—passed away. The ancestor exited so the descendant could enter. • The Nine of Diamonds (9♦️) & The Soulmate Connection: On April 12th—a Full Moon and a Nine of Diamonds (9♦️) day—I took the pregnancy test. The 9♦️ is my partner’s card, and my combination card with it is the Two of Hearts (2♥️), The Soulmate Card. The very pattern that governs our emotional union was signaling the arrival of the life we created. The 9 of Spades: The 7-Year Eraser In Cardology, we look at multiple spreads to see the full picture. In my 7-year spread, I am currently displacing the Nine of Spades (9♠️). This is the card of universal endings, completions, and the “Great Eraser.” When you are under a 7-year 9♠️ influence, you aren’t just changing a habit; you are ending a version of yourself. This is why the 20-year career had to go. The “Neptune Dream” Retirement On June 11th, under a Six of Diamonds (6♦️) Full Moon, I declared my retirement from my 20ish-year career. I chose my estimated due date for my final exit—a Two of Clubs (2♣️) day. I am Neptune to the Two of Clubs (2♣️). This means I am the “dream” or the spiritual ideal for that energy. By choosing that day, I was asserting my own spiritual authority over my labor. I ended a two-decade Saturnian cycle by stepping into my role as the Messenger (Six of Clubs / 6♣️) who no longer works for the machine, but for the Pattern. The Tail of the Snake We are still in the Snake year until the Lunar New Year. The shedding isn’t over. We are in the final moments of the Nine of Hearts (9♥️) “Eraser”/fulfillment before the Fire Horse momentum takes over in February. If you feel the weight of the “Double 9s” or the “Triple 9s,” know that Oya is simply clearing the debris. The skin has to fully sloth off so the Horse can run. Pause for a moment, then share in the comments… How have you noticed public events reflecting your deep personal cycles? Are you feeling the “final shed” of the Snake year in your own foundation? Before the Gallop: Reflections from the Year of the Snake

*Audio Disclaimer: My newest coworker is an infant who occasionally sounds like a tiny velociraptor. If you hear him in the background of this recording, just know he’s helping me track the cycles. As I begin to speak toward the coming Lunar New Year, I’ve found myself naturally closing out the last one — not through intention, but through reflection. Looking back over the previous months, I started noticing how clearly the patterns revealed themselves once I gave myself permission to actually review them. One of the first things that stood out to me was my combination card relationship with the Nine of Diamonds (9♦️), which resolves to the Two of Hearts (2♥️). The Nine of Diamonds itself fell on March 14, 2025, April 12, 2025, and January 18, 2026, each time activating significant lunar moments. Tracking these dates together revealed how consistently this card pattern echoed themes of relationship, conception, and emotional exchange in my lived experience. What struck me was realizing that I actually conceived around that first activation. Later in the year, I gave birth during a New Moon cycle that activated on a Queen of Hearts (Q♥️) day. My baby was born two days later, still within the New Moon window, as both the Sun and Moon had shifted into Capricorn. Sitting with that timing now, it feels impossible to ignore how precise it all was. This is one of the reasons I encourage people to review their own archives — past episodes, journals, timelines. Looking back is how you learn the language of the patterns and how the cards personally speak to you. Last year was the Year of the Snake — a year of shedding skin, releasing what no longer serves, not just individually but collectively. When I reflect on it honestly, I can see exactly where that shedding took place for me. Around June 11th, during a Six of Diamonds (6♦️) Full Moon, I made the decision to retire from a career I had been in for nearly 20 years. I began telling my clients, preparing for that transition. I even chose my estimated due date as my retirement date — a Two of Clubs (2♣️) day, the card I am Neptune to. It felt like a sweet  dream and a gentle, intentional closing. At the same time, I was deep in a larger cycle. In my seven-year spread, I’m currently displacing the Nine of Spades (9♠️)— a card of endings, completions, and closures. Before my birthday in September, I had been pushed forward by the Nine of Hearts (9♥️) for an entire year. Another completion card, but one tied to wish fulfillment, emotional truth, and, in many ways, grief. That part became especially clear when my grandmother passed. She is one of my karma cards — theTwo of Diamonds (2♦️). I found out I was pregnant the weekend after she transitioned. Holding those two events side by side has been profound in ways that are still unfolding. The deeper I go into these systems, the more I see how everything synchronizes if you let it. Exploring this alongside Chinese astrology only deepened that understanding. Despite the Gregorian calendar changing, we are still technically in the Year of the Snake. The shedding is not over. There is still time to release what needs to fall away before the Year of the Horse arrives — especially a Fire Horse year, which brings movement, momentum, and ignition. This period is meant to prepare you to move, not rush — to shed so that when it’s time to gallop, you can. This reflection is not about prediction. It’s about learning how to witness your own life honestly, recognizing where cycles have already been speaking. For those who want to trace this pattern further, I spoke about the themes emerging for the Year of the Snake in an episode posted last year. This is Part One. Pause for a moment, then share in the comments… What moments from the past year begin to make more sense when you view them through cycles rather than coincidence? This is a public episode. Cardology, Time Cycles, and the Hand We’re Born Holding

*Audio Disclaimer: My newest coworker is an infant who occasionally sounds like a tiny velociraptor. If you hear him in the background of this recording, just know he’s helping me track the cycles. Cardology is a symbolic system that matches a particular playing card to a person based on their date of birth using the Gregorian calendar. The math behind it is surprisingly simple—not convoluted, not mystical for mysticism’s sake. It’s one of those systems where, once you see it, you kind of go, oh… yeah. That makes sense. I wouldn’t say Cardology competes with astrology or numerology. If anything, it includes them. It works alongside them, weaving together planetary influences, numbers, and archetypes into a unified language. What a lot of people don’t realize is that the standard 52-card deck itself is a calendar: • 52 cards = 52 weeks in a year • 4 suits = 4 seasons • 13 cards per suit = 13 weeks per season (and 13 lunar cycles) • 12 face cards = 12 solar months When you add the numerical value of all the cards in a suit, you get 91—the number of days in a season. 91 \times 4 = 364. The Joker represents that extra day (and quarter), bringing us to 365¼ days. We’re talking about time, cycles, and rhythm—how a human life fits inside a larger pattern. Cardology in Real Life: The King of Clubs Authority What really sold me on Cardology wasn’t theory—it was practice. Once I started “collecting people’s cards” (and yes, I say that jokingly but also very seriously), I noticed a shift in how I related to people. I stopped taking everything so personally. I began to understand what role someone was meant to play in my life, what they were there to trigger, and where I needed clearer boundaries. A prime example: my stepmother. When I discovered she was a King of Clubs (K♣️)—the card of mental authority—a lot of her behavior stopped bothering me. I understood that authority, command, and mental dominance were part of her blueprint. She was born to occupy that role. That realization gave me peace and helped me decide how much access she actually needed to my energy. That’s one of Cardology’s quiet gifts: it helps you respond instead of react. The Nine of Clubs & Universal Perspective The collective card we’re currently moving through is the Nine of Clubs (9♣️), often referred to as the card of universal or global knowledge. I like to think of it as Universal Perspective. Nines are about completion — not endings for the sake of loss, but endings that allow elevation. In the suit of Clubs (the mental realm), that completion shows up as evolving thought patterns, releasing outdated beliefs, and gaining clarity. Cardology itself aligns beautifully with this energy. It draws from universal wisdom, incorporating numerology and astrology while also standing on its own. Even without knowing the suit, the number of a card already tells you a lot about the energy at play. Together, the number and suit create a language that helps us understand how thought evolves over time. The Six of Clubs: Truth & Self-Recognition For me, Cardology became real when I looked at my own birth card. I was born a Six of Clubs (6♣️)—the messenger. I often call it the Divine Messenger. Long before I ever knew that card existed, I was already living it. I’ve consistently played the role of communicator, translator, and guide for others. People have told me I helped them see things clearly even when I didn’t realize I was doing it. This theme shows up again in my natal chart. Cardology didn’t give me a new identity—it reflected one I was already living unconsciously. That’s how I see truth in Cardology: not as prediction, but as recognition. A Blueprint, Not a Cage One of the things that initially drew me to Cardology was the spread—the 13 cards in your hand, just like in Spades. And listen… I’’ll bust your ass in Spades. If you know when to play the right card at the right time, things flow almost magically. If you play recklessly or out of turn, you can mess up the whole game. Life works the same way. Cardology shows you the programming—the suggested plays, the tendencies, the timing. It doesn’t remove free will; it makes you aware of the terrain. Everything I study esoterically is about me becoming a better person—especially for my children. Cardology helps you recognize that not everything is going wrong—sometimes you’re just paying off debts or learning lessons you agreed to before you incarnated here. In that way, Cardology can be a quiet reassurance from Spirit: You signed up for this. You’re going to get through it. And things do get sweeter. Pause for a moment—then tell me: What patterns in your life feel less personal once you view them as part of a larger design? This is a public episode.
