Ep 15 - The Cool Side of Professional Wrestling ft. Justin (Again!) and Nick (Again, again!!)

Welcome to the season finale of the Cool Side of the Pillow Podcast! On this episode, I invite two of my Rasslefriends, Nick (returning from Episodes 2 and 11) and Justin (returning from Episode 6), to dive into the wacky, chaotic and unpredictable world of professional wrestling. We explore our vastly different journeys, eras and fave superstars along with the brands, companies and characters around today. A bit of the past, mixed with a bit of the present and a whole lot of differing opinions. Don't miss this episode! This has definitely been my most anticipated episode to do and one that is long overdue. But, I thought what better way to end the season than with my biggest passion. One I've mentioned throughout other episodes and one I've followed for almost 10 years. I hope this is a fitting end to this short lived passion of mine. Thank you all for supporting me if you have. Whether you watched episode 1 only, or if you've listened to them all, I'm so thankful for all you viewers, for my absolutely incredible guests who came in with a passion and were willing to share it with me. I have learned so much, (probably forgotten too much of it as well) but the journey has been utterly incredible. All the former friends I reconnected with, all the new friends I've made and all the bonds I have strengthened, I'm wholeheartedly thankful. But this is the end of the Line. It may come back one day, but for now, I'm hanging up the boots and walking back to Guerilla. I'm Sorry, I Love You... and I'll see you soon. Stay Frosty.

Ep 14 - The Cool Side of Aviation ft. Manon

On this episode I welcome the first true stranger to the podcast with my guest Manon! She is an aspiring and practised pilot who is on her way to start a masters program on Climate Change! She teaches me a lot about flying, planes and her passions of space! We explore her undergrad in science, aviation and astronomy; her experience in the air; and her future career paths! All on this episode of the Cool Side of the Pillow Podcast! Also, remember this is the penultimate episode of the Cool Side of the Pillow Season 1!  Thanks to everyone for supporting me! I can't wait to see you on the final episode where I finally tackle my love for Professional Wrestling with some of my wrestling buddies.

Ep 13 - The Cool Side of the MCU ft. Fatima and RETURNING Megan

On this episode, I invite two guests for the first time ever! Newbie to the stage Fatima and the returning Megan from Episode 1! We chat about the MCU and other marvel properties and RANK all the movies from last to best (using varying criteria) You will likely hate my rankings, just like my guests did, BUT I stand by them. Hate me if you want, I don't even care. I feed off of your anger and animosity. But still please continue to support me and my projects! Also! News (to some degree) I will be taking a break from weekly podcasts after episode 15 to film some more episodes with new guests and get more things going, as well as just rejuvenating my juices. It may not come back, it may come back looking and feeling different, it may be something completely new, but it's been a really fun ride. Thanks to everyone who supported this journey! It's not the end though so enjoy the last couple episodes!

Ep 12 - The Cool Side of Indigenous Rights in Canada, ft. Hazel

On this episode I chat with my university friend, Hazel, about all things Indigenous Rights in Canada. Okay, not all things, but Hazel and I discuss the poor education of Indigenous society both in the past and present. We explore her deep research and self teaching of Indigenous societies. And most importantly we talk about her cause called Northern Supplies for Success in association with True North Aid. This statement is taken from True North Aid's website her cause "helps provide school supplies, menstrual items and healthy snacks to northern and remote communities in Manitoba and Nunavut." What she has created and organized is so incredibly important and in many cases may help save a life or help someone in a much less privileged position succeed.
