We had the pleasure of sitting down with Journalist, Poet, Creative Writer, Playwright and Theatre Producer, Wellington Xolani Makwakwa to discuss The Industry of Writing, Theatre and how that sector can be improved as well as his upcoming Theatre in The Garden project, "Gogo's Boy". Wellington's Biography Zululand Observer Journalist and Entertainment Section Coordinator. Former editor at Writers In (Joburg), Freelance Writer for the Soul City Institute and Rise Magazine as well and seasonal Contributor for e-TV and eNCA as well as The Citizen. Founder of the King Cetshwayo Theatrical Society, with several theatre productions under his belt - such as "Death of the Emperor Shaka,, "The Devil's Autograph", "Hlala Ngentombi", "Whisper Between Blood Stains" as well as "Gogo's Boy". Founder and Director of Uphaphe Writing Club and he has an upcoming book, "The Naked Truth". He holds a BA degree in Communication Science from the University of SA, Journalism Diploma from the Caxton Community Newspaper Training Academy and Advance Digital Journalism qualification from UNISA. His work has emerged him a Caxton Cadet of the Year award, Caxton Most Promising Journalist (Top 2 National Finalist), Entertainment Journalist of the Year, Community Hero Award, Spirit of Ubuntu Award as well as the 035 Journalist of the Year 2018. #7 feat Hon. Mayor TB Zulu (uMlalazi Municipality) | How can We Restructure Agriculture, Tourism and Health Sectors?

Thelumoya .B. Zulu known as Jeke Zulu, Besides being a political Leader he is a father of many different people, A loyal and responsible Man. Mr Zulu is a humble and intellectual Leader who started politics at an early age while he was a student in Nzuza High School near Gingindlovu where he spent Five (5 ) years from Grade 08 to 12 , and after that he went to Durban to further his studies in Durban University of Westville currently known as UKZN. Mr Zulu is a Lawyer by profession . He was an ANC Leader at Branch level.  Zulu led as the Branch Chairperson of the ANC in kwaKhoza Branch currently known as Andrew Zondo Branch, dedication and commitment he showed when he was leading kwaKhoza Branch put him to another level as he was elected as the deputy Chairperson of the ANC in uMlalazi Sub-Region KZ284 and they collectively led with distinction with other comrades, And they deserve respect as they are the first Leadership that delivered uMlalazi Municipality to the hands of the ANC. After that he was elected to the Higher structure the Regional Executive Committee (REC) by Branches of the ANC and the REC elected him as the Regional Working Committee Member (RWC) from 2011 to 2014. But also when the ANC took over uMlalazi Municipality in 2011 he became the first Mayor of the ANC in uMlalazi Municipality. and he started to serve and deliver with dedication to the people of EShowe the Municipality that was made with Twenty Six (26) wards Four (4) urban and Twenty Two (22) Rural areas , And the 6th Regional Confrence of the ANC held in Bhekuzulu Hall (University of Zululand) elected him as the Regional Treasurer in the same Region Musa Dladla Region. In 2016 we went to Local Government Elections with him as the Mayoral Candidate of the ANC in uMlalazi Municipality and the people of EShowe responded positive and the ANC won Elections with distinction through his dedication to his deployment, In him we have a bright future and we hope that he will continue with the good work of giving the service to the people of EShowe without corruption. Mageba is a father and a Leader of many different people who always emphasizing Education as the best weapon to all of us, but he never underestimate those who are still looking foward to a better life through education, he motivate and Encourage them, Mageba is a good Leader who respect everybody and treat all people equal. Mageba opened the 1st Youth advisory centre under uMlalazi Municipality in 2014 where young people register their businesses and assisted with all compliance documents . These offices secured an MOU in 2016 which has benefited more that 2000 young business persons.
