Jesus went to the cross to give us freedom from sin and death, but we often fail to recognize what He also had in mind while He hung on the cross for us. If we read in Psalms 139, it is clear how seen and known we are even down to the details. If the only thing Jesus had to die for was you and your mental illness, He still would’ve died to free you from just that. He doesn’t see those struggles as small. He sees you and your struggles and sees you as worth saving. why do we have to suffer

exiting the honeymoon phase | HYROX!

Hi friends! Welcome back to another episode of The Divine Podcast. As humans, we were not made for the ups and downs and nervous system dysregulation that unstable relationships can bring. Yet, when we grow used to these patterns, we find ourselves believing we aren't experiencing true love without these "roller coaster" feelings. In this week's episode, Libby talks about what God has been teaching her about steady love. Just like with any other relationship, the honeymoon phase will eventually end, and you have to face the crossroads of realizing if your relationship was based off of feelings or based off of love and devotion. He cannot deny who He is

Let's talk about what it means for God to be infinitely kind, infinitely just, infinitely good, and infinitely faithful all at the same time. These characteristics give us hope in our own situations knowing that He would not lead us to where we are just to leave us there. His character speaks otherwise, and He is faithful to finish what He started. Even when we are not faithful, He is still faithful. you are not your parents' mistakes

Hi friends! Welcome back to another episode of The Divine Podcast. Often times, the Devil feeds us the lie that we are destined to struggle with the same sins our parents did. This leaves us stuck in the same cycle that all of the generations before us were a slave to. We let ourselves believe lies like, "I'm going to end up just like my parents," and "this is just what I was born into." But God tells us that we were made in His image, meaning we are so much more meant to end up like Him, our Abba Father, than we are meant to end up like our earthly parents.
