Danielle Feinberg: Pixar Animations, Representation in STEM & Film, and the Artistic Process | EP 3

Welcome to another episode of the E-Scholium Podcast. Our (extremely) special guest today is Ms. Danielle Feinberg. Ms. Feinberg worked as a lighting artist on some of your favorite Pixar films including Monsters Inc, Wall-E, Coco, and Finding Nemo just to name a few. Most recently, she was the visual effects supervisor for Pixar’s newest feature film, Turning Red. In this episode, Ms. Feinberg shares some of her formative experiences that inspired her to pursue both computer science and computer-aided animation as well as her experience as a woman in computer animation. Big thanks to Ms. Feinberg for being so flexible and making this happen over zoom as well as to Maggie Lo for helping co host this episode! Vijay Kumar: Machine Learning, Ethics, and Exploration | EP 2

Welcome to the 2nd episode of the E-Scholium Podcast. For this episode, I was honored to be joined by Dr. Vijay Kumar. Dr. Kumar is one of the world’s leading experts in autonomous drones and has given multiple TED talks on the subject (and they’re very good if I may add). He is also the dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. But moreover, as revealed in the episode, Dr. Kumar is an incredibly down earth individual who greatly values his role as an educator. As they say, “some people just want to see the world learn.” I hope you enjoy this conversation with Dr. Vijay Kumar and thank you for listening. Rajatesh Gudibande: GraphWear, Graphene, and The Love of Learning | EP 1

Welcome to the pilot episode of the E-Scholium Podcast. This has been in the making for a while and I'm really excited to show it off. Our first guest is Rajatesh Gudibande. Mr. Gudibande was the first of the STEM Speaker Series to give a speech at EA. In this conversation, Mr. Gudibande talks about his formative experiences, his inspiration for GraphWear, and the challenges of making it a reality, along with some nuggets of wisdom. I hope you enjoy this conversation! This was recorded on January 27th (I know, my turnover rate needs to improve) If you have any suggestions or feedback, please send me an email or just stop me in the hallway!  E-Scholium Socials: E-Scholium Website [http://www.e-scholium.org/] Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/escholium1785/] Spotify [https://open.spotify.com/show/5XCX4uhy3NoCEFFG9hXVIz] Apple Podcasts [https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-e-scholium-podcast/id1613652247]

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
