Ep. 42/ Part 1-B The Hustlers Corner NYC introducing Bossalena 3/16/2021

BO$$ALENA BOSSALENA is a recording artist, Certified Engineer & entrepreneur. She was raised in Compton, California but now resides and kicking up dust in San Antonio, Texas for the past couple of years. She is a very passionate and explosive performer with accurate and precise delivery. Sharpened over years of dedication and love for the craft of music. With her do-it-yourself mindset, she embodies her name BOSSALENA by being a leader having control and ownership over all aspects of her business, music, and life. Overcoming roadblocks set in her path with ease and confidence that inspire other female and male artists to never give up building their empire and going hard for their dreams. While still in the process of building her independent team Rap and Hip Hop Music is one of the top trends in music, but many parents disapprove of this music, while the younger generation has a love for it. Most parents want the best for their children and seek to acquire better lives for their families. It is more beneficial to live a positive lifestyle than a negative one. The path to constructive experiences starts with feeding the mind with constructive ideas, good lessons, and sensible instructions. Most parents do not want their children to have negative experiences. Cruel images, unnecessary pain, or repetitive destructive words in hip hop and rap they seek to avoid for their children. For this reason, parents don't like many rap and hip-hop songs because of damaging content. They don't appreciate that such harmful words are being fed into the minds of their children. On the other hand, children love rap and hip hop because of the powerful nature of the beat, the flow of the lyrics with catchy punch lines and slick metaphors. Hip hop and rap are more than just music, it is a lifestyle. It is a wonderful combination of rhythm, rhetoric, and hope. Kids, teens, and young adults all over the world listen emotionally to the sounds of hip hop. They're inspired by the rhetorical flow of rap and seek to one day capture the financial success of these artists themselves. Although some lyrics in rap and hip-hop music are derogatory, all of it is not demeaning. Some hip-hop and rap artists demean people, places, and things, while some speak about overcoming overwhelming peers, systems, and environmental conditions. Others boast about their materialism as an affirmation of success. And, many artists often use vulgar language to express such experiences. So I ask, is there a balance? The mind is like a sponge, soaking up information like water from the very moment of human conception. Indeed, the mind vividly records what is observed through sight, sound, touch, taste, smell, and imagination. As a result, that which is recorded in our minds has an effect on our behavior. Music is considered a scientific art and words have power, real energy. Music can thrill us, sadden us, or inspire us. We feel our emotions rise as we listen to a favorite melody, and we are taken back to the old school by listening to the lyrics of an old school song. Throughout history, songs have been created with the intention to inspire feelings. And Music can do all this. The good news is that there is a balance. It is recommended not to discredit all rap and hip-hop music. There are excellent compositions out there that our children can enjoy while feeding their minds with sensible ideas. The key is to simply be more mindful of the type of rap and hip hop our children are listening to as it does have an impact on their mindset.

Ep 40/Part 1 - Victims Of The System Series - Misconduct In Office - Introducing Jeffery Deskovich 2/22/2021

Victims Of The System Series - Misconduct In Office - Introducing Jeffery Deskovich Police are considered the morals of law and order. They are trained, to protect people from misconduct, violence, and crime. Their greatest responsibility is using force. Dispersing crowds, settling disputes, investigating problems, and making arrests, are part of their daily routines. However, using force should only be done to resolve disasters. Not attract the public, the government, and the media from misconduct in office. Police misconduct has attracted the media's attention for years. Many people say what has been reported on the news is nothing compared to just how much police misconduct is out there. Another group says that such reports have been overblown. Some people note that they have observed many times when the police have successfully resolved situations without the use of deadly force. And that they should earn the merit of recognition. However, one thing remains true. Police misconduct has wrecked the reputation of the police and the public's trust.
