The Motorsport REView - 2026 British Sprint Review

Formula 1 returns home - and that is just the start of the Brit bias! Over half of the teams and almost a quarter of the drivers are from the UK, meaning the British Grand Prix weekend is amongst the busiest on the calendar. And that is before the Sprint returned to Silverstone for 2026, the place where the very first Sprint race took place in 2021. But 5 years on from the first Sprint race, has the format improved and are Sprint races still desired at all? To discuss all matters from from the British Grand Prix weekend, Perry is joined by McLaren superfan Andy who attended Silverstone on Sunday with his 75 year old Mother, attending her first ever Grand Prix! Andy shares their trackside experience, and of course we discuss the LEGO parade lap race in all it's glory too! The Motorsport REView - 2026 Austrian Grand Prix Review

The hills are alive with the sound of F1! One of the most picturesque circuits on the F1 calendar, they styrian mountains provide the background for the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. A short and fast circuit where most of the tracks length is long straights separated by tight hairpins. A fast final sector with flowing corners ensures that lap times are the quickest of the season at just over a minute. With laptimes so short, the margins in qualifying become that much closer too. And it was Saturday that seemingly dropped the biggest shocks with a scintillating and controversial end to Q3. Perry and Luis discuss all of the drama around George Russell's pole position, plus of course all of the entertainment that the race itself provided! Chances are that you haven't heard of the Atlas Cup yet. We hadn't heard of it here at the Motorsport REView, until we received an E-Mail inviting us to interview the Founder and CEO of Atlas Cup, Philip Hover-Smoot. A quick Google later to check this was legitimate, we leapt at the invite and quickly arranged the meeting - Racing in space? Tell us more! The aim of Atlas Cup is to do for space travel what Formula 1 has done for the automotive industry. Competition advances technology, so why not create a competition out in space - a location we are already exploring and regularly utilising. Quite literally, welcome to the new Space Race! The Motorsport REView - 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix Review

The 2026 era of Formula 1 cars return to where it all began - the Catalunya circuit on the outskirts of Barcelona. It feels like such a long time ago since those first private shakedown sessions for these new cars at the end of January. What else is new is the name of the Grand Prix. No longer the Spanish Grand Prix (which now belongs to the Madring), this weekend saw the debut "Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix". Hmm... Perry is flying solo for this review, running through the back of the pack, into the midfield, and finally towards that all British driver podium. Apologies for yet more British bias!
