Michael Chatfield and Andrew Givler host completely unfiltered conversations with authors, creators, and anyone else they drag into the mic. Sometimes it’s about writing, sometimes it’s about publishing, and often it’s about life, bad decisions, and wild off-topic chaos. No scripts, no polished talking points, no filter, just honest, ridiculous, unpredictable conversations. If you like fantasy, LitRPG, creative life, and hearing what people are really thinking when the mics are on, this is your kind of chaos.

Part 1: Indie Authors Unfiltered: Writing Craft, Worldbuilding & Pacing

Welcome to the podcast that has no name, where indie authors hang out, overthink storytelling, and accidentally turn writing advice into chaos and comedy. In this Part 1 episode, Andrew Givler, Michael Chatfield, and Z.B Big Dog Steele dive deep into the reality of being an author today, from writing and editing struggles, to worldbuilding, pacing, and what actually makes a story work. We talk about: Why “simple writing” is harder than it looks The difference between dev edits, line edits, and real feedback Writing vs. over-writing (and why brevity is a superpower) Solo Leveling, anime storytelling, and “aura farming” in fiction Why pacing is the real magic trick in storytelling What it actually means to stay “hungry” as a writer It’s unfiltered, honest, and a little chaotic, just how writers talk when no one is trying to be perfect. episode Part 2: Authors Unfiltered: Chaos, Creativity, Burnout & Comebacks cover

Part 2: Authors Unfiltered: Chaos, Creativity, Burnout & Comebacks

Part 2 gets even more real and a lot more chaotic 😂 In this episode, Hunter Mythos shares the full story behind the Mustang obsession, life after the Marines, financial ups and downs, and the moment everything changed. What starts as a funny story about cars turns into a deep, honest conversation about failure, growth, creativity, and what it really takes to rebuild your life (and career). 💡 In this episode: - The very real Mustang story (and Marine stereotypes 👀) - Losing money, relationships, and starting over - From rock bottom jobs to landing a publishing deal - Why doing less might actually change your life - Letting go of ego, pressure, and burnout - Finding a healthier “fuel” for creativity - Balancing art vs business as an author - Rediscovering your voice and passion This is the side of success people don’t usually talk about.. the messy middle, the lessons, and the reset. 🎧 If you're a creator, writer, or just figuring life out… this one will hit. #PodcastEpisode #AuthorJourney #LifeLessons #CreativeBurnout #WritersLife

Part 1: Authors Unfiltered: Chaos, Creativity, Burnout & Comebacks

Welcome to the podcast with no name! Because apparently, naming things is harder than writing books 😂 In this episode, we’re joined by author Hunter Mythos alongside co-host Andrew Gibbler, diving into a chaotic, hilarious, and surprisingly deep conversation about writing, creativity, burnout, and life as an author. From wild travel stories in Colombia to the realities of publishing multiple books, this episode pulls back the curtain on what it really takes to succeed (and survive) in the writing world. 💡 What we talk about: - The pressure of writing fast vs writing well - Burnout and why slowing down might actually make you more successful - Finding your “writing style” (word count vs vibes 👀) - Behind-the-scenes of publishing multiple books - Travel, nomad life, and creative inspiration - Why chasing “the sauce” can make you lose it Expect laughs, honest takes, and a whole lot of chaos. 🎧 Whether you're a writer, reader, or just love unfiltered conversations, this one’s for you. #AuthorLife #WritingCommunity #PodcastClips #CreativeProcess #BurnoutRecovery

episode Part Two: No Outline. No Plan. Just Author Chaos cover

Part Two: No Outline. No Plan. Just Author Chaos

We finally did it. No name for the podcast yet, but we've got four authors, three countries, and somehow nobody could agree on anything except that writing is slowly destroying all of us. JM Clarke and Andy Peloquin joined me and Andrew this week and it went exactly as unhinged as you'd expect. We got into burning 800,000 words to the ground and starting over, dictating yourself off a cliff at 70,000 words, whether Harry Potter is secretly the mother of progression fantasy, Homer basically running a Patreon in ancient Greece, and the neurologist who told JM "yeah don't do that" after three years of four hours sleep and pure chaos energy. Andy also showed up halfway through like he just wandered in from another conversation. Which he kind of did. And it was perfect. Somehow we go from burnout and existential dread to Jim Butcher accidentally outlining an entire fantasy series in college to death in a heartbeat. Classic. Oh and Andrew forgot it was on his calendar. Had to run and get coffee mid-setup. We started without him. No regrets. No outline. No rails. Honestly the only way to do this. If you want updates on the podcast and the books, comment 'newsletter' and I'll get you added to the list. #AuthorPodcast #FantasyAuthors #LitRPG #ProgressionFantasy #WritingCommunity #BehindTheBook #MarkOfTheFool #Darkblade

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
