episode After 50, It’s About Face Strength — Not Perfection cover

After 50, It’s About Face Strength — Not Perfection

There’s a moment in midlife when you stop looking at your face casually. Not because you suddenly become vain. But because something shifts. You notice tension you’ve been carrying for decades. You notice exhaustion.Collapse.Asymmetry.Holding patterns. And if you’re honest, you realise it isn’t only age you’re looking at. It’s accumulated life. I’ve been thinking about this deeply lately after recording a very personal conversation about my own face, my childhood accident, facial surgeries, nervous system tension, and what happens after 50 when the structures underneath the skin begin changing. But what surprised me most wasn’t the physical side of it. It was the emotional side. Because so many women spend years disconnected from their bodies while simultaneously criticising them. We brace. We hold.We tighten. We over-perform.We live in stress responses for decades — and eventually the body reflects it. I don’t think women age badly because they get older. I think many women age under the weight of accumulated vigilance. And there’s a difference. Thanks for reading The Radiant Reset! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. Lately, I’ve become much more interested in participation than perfection. Strength instead of paralysis.Engagement instead of shame.Posture instead of punishment.Presence instead of comparison. Not trying to become younger. Trying to become more fully inhabiting of myself. That changes how you carry your face.Your body.Your energy.Your life. And honestly?I think women can become more beautiful in midlife — not because they erase age, but because they become more integrated. More themselves. Thanks for listening to The Radiant Reset! episode What 57 Is Already Teaching Me About Power, Identity & Time cover

What 57 Is Already Teaching Me About Power, Identity & Time

There’s something strange that happens in midlife that I don’t think people talk about enough. You stop performing. Not all at once. Not dramatically. But quietly. You notice yourself becoming less willing to tolerate things that once felt normal. You stop over-explaining.You stop managing other people’s emotions. You stop shrinking to maintain harmony. And at first, it can feel disorientating. Because so much of womanhood — especially for our generation — was built around accommodation. Being pleasant.Useful.Flexible.Liked. But somewhere in my 50s, I realised I no longer wanted to build my life around being palatable. I wanted to build it around being honest. That shift changes everything. The video I shared this week touches on some of that — but what I’ve realised more deeply lately is that midlife isn’t making me harder. It’s making me clearer. And clarity is a form of freedom. episode The Quiet Question That Changes Everything in Midlife cover

The Quiet Question That Changes Everything in Midlife

There’s a question that doesn’t arrive all at once. It builds slowly. Through moments you can’t quite explain. A feeling that something isn’t fully landing… even when everything looks “fine.” And eventually, it turns into something you can’t ignore: Is this the life I actually want? What makes this question so confronting is that it doesn’t come with a clear problem. There’s no obvious crisis. Just a growing sense of distance between: * the life you’re living * and the life that feels true For many women, this isn’t about making mistakes. It’s about how life was built in the first place. From: * roles * expectations * responsibilities * adapting to what was needed And over time… that adaptation becomes identity. Thanks for reading The Radiant Reset! It brings you back to yourself. Not who you were supposed to be… but who you actually are now. And that’s where everything begins to change. Not because you suddenly have all the answers. But because you start asking better questions. 🎧 In this episode, I explore: * why this feeling shows up * what it actually means * and how to begin responding to it without blowing your life apart If you’re in this space right now… you’re not behind. You’re not lost. You’re at the beginning of something. Thanks for reading The Radiant Reset! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. This is a public episode. episode Why You’re Outgrowing Your Friends in Midlife cover

Why You’re Outgrowing Your Friends in Midlife

🔗 Start here if this resonates [https://www.beryldingemans.com/start] There’s a moment in midlife that many women don’t expect. It’s not dramatic. It’s not loud. It’s subtle. You start to feel… different. Not just in yourself — but in your relationships. Conversations that once felt easy begin to feel draining.Dynamics you used to tolerate now feel uncomfortable. And people you’ve known for years suddenly feel… out of sync. And that’s when the question comes up: What’s wrong with me? But what if nothing is wrong? We tend to assume that when relationships shift, something has broken. But in many cases, nothing has broken. Something has evolved. Thanks for reading The Radiant Reset! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. The friendships that brought you here Many of our friendships are built on: * proximity * shared life stages * history And for a long time, that’s enough. But midlife changes the foundation. Because you change. When you start to see differently As you become more self-aware, more reflective, more intentional… You start noticing things you didn’t see before: * energy dynamics * emotional patterns * unspoken expectations And what once felt normal… no longer does. Why this can feel so uncomfortable Because growth doesn’t just expand your life. It refines it. And refinement often feels like loss before it feels like clarity. This isn’t about losing people It’s about becoming more honest about what fits — and what doesn’t. Not every relationship is meant to evolve with you. And that doesn’t make you difficult. It makes you aware. If this resonates, you’re not alone. You’re not imagining it. You’re evolving. And sometimes… that changes everything. Thanks for reading The Radiant Reset! episode This Isn’t a Midlife Crisis — It’s a Turning Point cover

This Isn’t a Midlife Crisis — It’s a Turning Point

Start here if this resonates [https://www.beryldingemans.com/start] There’s a moment in midlife that catches many women completely off guard. From the outside, life looks… fine. You’ve built something. You’ve held everything together. You’ve done what was expected of you. And yet, underneath it all, there’s a quiet question: Is this it? It doesn’t feel like a breakdown. It doesn’t even feel dramatic. It feels… empty. Thanks for reading The Radiant Reset! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. What If This Isn’t a Crisis? We’ve been conditioned to label this stage of life as a “midlife crisis.” As if something has gone wrong. As if we need to fix it, push through it, or get back to who we used to be. But what if nothing has gone wrong? What if what you’re feeling is actually the result of something ending… and something else trying to begin? The Manual Ends Here There’s a clear structure to the first half of life. You build. You prove. You perform. You take care of everyone else. And if you follow that path, it works — for a while. But then midlife arrives, and the roles that once defined you begin to loosen. And suddenly, you’re left with space. Unfamiliar, uncomfortable space. It’s Not Emptiness — It’s Space That feeling so many women describe as “emptiness” is often misunderstood. It’s not something missing. It’s something opening. It’s the space that appears when the version of you who carried your life this far… is no longer the version meant to take you forward. Why This Feels So Unsettling Because for most of your life, your identity has been shaped by: * who needs you * what’s expected of you * what works externally And now, for the first time, you’re being asked a different question: What do you actually want? That question can feel confronting. But it’s also where everything begins. This Is the Shift Midlife isn’t asking you to go back. It’s asking you to move forward — consciously this time. To choose: * who you spend time with * what you give your energy to * what actually matters to you now If this resonates, you’re not alone. You’re not falling apart. You’re not too late. You’re not behind. You’re standing at the edge of a new chapter — one that gets to be written on your terms. Thanks for reading The Radiant Reset! Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
