Episode 5: Spillin' it with Kam Schalk

On this episode of the Real T we get to catch up with Kam Schalk, a member of our most recent third year junior counselor group. Kam is known for her kind, positive spirit and her artistic and creative eye for videography and photography. This past summer Kam was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and has been documenting her battle through her YouTube channel. We are so excited and hopeful for what is to come in her life. This episode was recorded halfway through her journey, and explores the supports, feelings, and struggles along the way. Episode 4: Spillin' it with Jaime Johnson

On this episode of the Real T join us as we dive in with the lover of love, Jaime Johnson, a senior counselor at Mt. Triumph for the past five years. She also spends most her days working as the activities adviser at Monroe High School in Monroe, Washington. Listen in as we chat about connection during distance learning, learning lessons from you council members, and the wisdom and example of Fred Rogers.  Hani, Syd, and Travis take some time to spill the personal tea regarding creativity, expectations, personal limitations, and having to shift quickly when COVID comes to class. Episode 3: Spillin' it with Scott and Hannah Clardy plus Anderson

After a holiday break, an attempted coupe at the Capitol, and the reality of the new year that is 2021, we are finally back with a new episode. On this episode of the Real T join Syd, Travis and Hani as they spill the tea on why reciprocity in relationships is important, the continued realities of the pandemic, how learning to say no and understand your limits is life giving, plus Travis schools us on why senioritis isn't a real thing.  We will also catch up with Scott and Hannah Clardy, two former staff members that served as JC's and Core Team members. You can now find them living and working in Astoria, Oregon, busy loving on their little cutie Anderson.  Listen as they reflect how they still cary their experiences and all they learned at Mt. Episode 2: Spillin' it with Leanne Donley

Welcome back. This week on the Real T, we get to sit at the table with my long time friend, and camp director of Mt. Triumph, Leanne Donley. She will be spilling the tea about the beginning of Mt. Triumph, her perseverance through the COVID school closures, her BFF Bréne Brown's influence in her life, and of course, her camp crushes.  Also, Travis, Syd, and Hani debrief the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and the move of Travis' family into their dream home. Spillin' the Tea: We're just gettin' started

This is it! The first one!  We are so very excited you have decided to take some time out of your day to join us. Each summer we gather with over 300 delegates from all over the state to learn and grow as leaders at Cispus Learning Center in Randle, Washington. For each of us, this has challenged and transformed us as leaders and people. As your hosts, we look forward to spilling the tea and connecting with you all over the different triumphs, tribulations, and truths we've encountered in our daily lives. Also, be sure to stick around for the weekly serpentine, a closer look at the unique way we say goodbye at the end of each camp session. Welcome to the table of the Triumph fam...we are so glad you joined us.
