#48 MyDo - Let's Start At The Very Beginning - A short conversation with Jeanne Song (President of MyDo)

I met Jeanne Song (President of MyDo) in Argentina and we got to chat for a little bit!! We talk about her previous career in casting, as well as marketing her friend's products. Then she thought to herself, "why not me?" and so, Song started her own Korean Skincare line, MyDo - Let's start at the very beginning! Song was also interested in singing growing up. And if you are familiar with the classic movie "Sound of Music (1965)" the scene "Do-Re-Mi" heavily inspired MyDo, hence the name My 'DO' and the slogan "let's start at the very beginning." #47 Super Gourmet Casco Viejo - Blayne Ladner and Yazmina Delgado

I was fortunate enough to interview Blayne Ladner and his wife Yazmina Delgado, who both own and founded the Super Gourmet Coffee Shop in Panama! In 2006 after Hurricane Katrina, Ladner moved to Panama as a fresh reset. He worked in the real estate industry previously and eventually ventured into entrepreneurship over the years. After having many morning business meetings but no real place for coffee and breakfast. In 2007 he decided to solve the problem and startup Super Gourmet! Which is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Casco Viejo in Panama; the area is rich in history and has beautiful Spanish architecture. In the interview we talk about how his influences, and how being around people who takes chances which helped him make the move to Panama, as well as the importance of living and investing in your community!
