Our mission here on The Rooted Mama Podcast is to initiate conversation that unapologetically challenges the conventional narrative surrounding motherhood, bring together likeminded women, and to deeply honor our instinctual nature as mothers so that we may mother as the most connected, intuitive, empowered versions of ourselves & raise children whose foundation is built on the invaluable gifts of presence, secure attachment & unconditional love, that they will carry with them for their entire lives.

Ep. 9 - Discomfort as an Investment: Showing Up for the Full Spectrum of Motherhood

Episode 9 is all about discomfort as an investment. We touch on different topics like sleep, breastfeeding, and other areas where it's become culturally normal to cut corners. We talk about having encouraging people in your corner who push you in doing the hard things, creating confidence in ourselves & our kids, changing the way we look at discomfort & inconvenience, remembering how sacred this chapter of life is, learning to be okay with not being liked especially when it comes to how you share (or don't share on social media), and lots more. It's a jam packed episode about truly showing up for the full spectrum of motherhood & reaping the benefits of it. Follow us on IG: www.instagram.com/rootedmamapodcast

Ep. 8 - WE'RE BACK! Season 2: Life Updates, Repairing w/ Our Kids & Being the Village

Hiiii friends!! We are finally BACK after a long hiatus while Sarah welcomed her second child, and life got a little extra crazy. We came to you for a Rooted Mamas after hours chat, giving you a life update, and totally unscripted yap session about repair work with our kids & why it's so important & valuable, as well as being & building a village. We got into the nitty gritty of motherhood, especially in the toddler years & navigating what it asks of us & how we can continue to show up for our kids in an honest & intentional way, knowing that we aren't perfect, and that's okay. We all dove into talking about the village, and how you must BE the village if you want to have one, stuff like overuse of boundaries, lacking intimacy & authenticity, and how part of building deep friendships is about going out of your way to pour into others. It's a good one! We're happy to be back, and thank you guys for being here!

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
