Episode 8. Final recap before election day!

In Episode 8, your host Vera will sit down with Sandy for a final recap before election day!  Sandy will be discussing what the first 90 days will look like if elected and her transition plan. Sandy kicked off her campaign back in April of this year and has finally come down to the final week. She is feeling energized, hopefully and really eager to finish strong. She discusses moments in the campaign in which she knew exactly why she was running for mayor. It has always been about the people and will continue to be about them.  She recaps with the final three things she would like the voters to know before Nov. 8th

Episode 7. Recap of Lafourche Alliance for Good Government Public Forum

On Monday, Oct. 24, 2022 The Lafourche Alliance for Good Government hosted a public forum for candidates for mayor and city council. In today's episode your host, Vera Holloway, will provide audio clips of questions asked to Sandy and her responses. You will hear a range of questions that host, Cody Blanchard, asked to both candidates. Episode 6. Family values, Education, and Crime Reduction

In Episode 6, Sandy will be discussing a key issue for many families throughout the city of Thibodaux - crime and safety. She will also talk about the connection between education and the reduction of crime. Episode 5. What makes a vibrant community?

In Episode 5, Vera sits down with Sandy to discuss what makes a vibrant community. Sandy will educate the audience on today's episode by sharing information from author and community leader, Quint Studer.  Quint Studer states, "At the center of everything must be the unshakeable belief that your community can and will be vibrant and improve its quality of life." Sandy believes this is possible! She will go into the 4 fundamental elements that Quint Studer says is vital to the change process in every community.  1. Civic engagement  2. Downtown 3.
