On this edition of The Sports King Show, I go over the dysfunction of The Washington Football Team. QB Dwayne Haskins Jr went to a strip club after the team's most recent loss to the Seattle Seahawks this past Sunday. Instead of going home or watching the film, Haskins felt the best place for him was a party complete with strippers. He went to this party and was videotaped with pictures that appeared splashed across the locker room and the court of public opinion. The response was swift and decisive as many fans and broadcasters alike, discussed moving on from a player who has been unwilling to be a leader in any way shape or form. The entitlement that Haskins feels is significant and has put a team in first place and in desperate need of a leader in a major bind. We transition and discuss the other top sports stories of the day including the opening night in the NBA which saw the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers receive their championship rings, then they proceeded to go out and get blasted by LA's other team the Clippers. We discussed the next few days and how our show schedule would look over the holiday break which will feature Top 10 Sports Stories of the year from 10 down to 1. We break down the game and the key players and what QB Derek Carr must do with the absence of big-play Wide Receiver Henry Ruggs who is out because of Covid-19 restrictions. We discuss the NCAA granting athletes an extra year of eligibility because of the Coronavirus and why it is so important to help student-athletes. We go over breaking sports news and a remarkable story of a Detroit Lions player who played an entire game last weekend with a fractured throat. We close out the show with a preview of the Sports Phone Show with Big Al. Sports King Show 12.16.20

On the Wednesday edition of The Sports King Show, we talk about all of the breaking sports news of the day. We conclude our visit from Orlando and recap our tremendous visit with Hall of Fame Linebacker/Coach Mike Singletary and the big win by his team the Generals who won the Spring League Championship in impressive fashion over the Aviators by a score of 37-14. Generals QB Bryan Scott was electric finishing the year as the League MVP passing for over 1,000 yards with 11 Touchdowns against only 1 Interception.  In the Championship game, Scott was 22/32 for 264 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also rushed for one 25-yard TD in the win. The Championship game was held at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. We close out the show with late-breaking sports news. We take an in-depth look at the league and the match-up and the game which will be featured on FS1 at 7pm eastern time. We discuss meeting with Generals Defensive Coordinator Mike Singletary the Hall of Fame former linebacker of the Chicago Bears. Mike discussed the league and his goal of returning to the NFL as a Head Coach hopefully sometime soon in the future. The Spring League is gaining traction as a much-needed feeder system to both the CFL and the NFL as well.
