"Chemo makes you a shell of the person you were..." Kelly shares her story with me, and how it's changed her outlook on the world.

Sitting down with Kelly was a real eye opener for me personally, we are the same age, and have a daughter the same age too. So hearing how she coped with her cancer diagnosis personally, and navigating through this as a mum at the same time, was really inspiring.  Kelly spoke with strength, warmth and perspective, and despite everything she's faced, there's such a calmness around her.  You can follow Kelly here, @kellyslymphoma_lessons  And remember to check out her podcast too.  Support the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2497939/support] Want to keep up to date with who's to come on future episodes?  Find me over on socials by searching @the.honest.mummy If you have a story to share, have a guest suggestion or want to find out about sponsorship pop me over an email at carla@thehonestmummy.co.uk my inbox is always open!

"I'm proud of where I've got to, even if it was without the typical dreams you have as a little girl"... Charlene on how her passion for helping people, has become a full time business.

I've actually known Charlene for many years(!) and watching her 'ideas' come to life has been inspiring.  She maybe doesn't have the typical 'lifestyle' most women in their 40s have. But it certainly hasn't held her back. You can find Charlene located on Queen Street in Peterhead, perhaps you've been feeling a little stuck in your work lately and wondered if there's something else out there for you. Pop in and see her, she'd love the chat!   www.ignitejobs.co.uk Support the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2497939/support] Want to keep up to date with who's to come on future episodes?  Find me over on socials by searching @the.honest.mummy If you have a story to share, have a guest suggestion or want to find out about sponsorship pop me over an email at carla@thehonestmummy.co.uk my inbox is always open!

Committed to living in the moment. Hannah Laidler talks about life as an SMA Mummy.

Hannah and I found each other on social media a while back, and the more I watched, the more I loved seeing how committed she was to raising awareness of SMA. Yet remaining so present where she's needed most, with her boys.  In the week prior to this podcast release, Lawson celebrated his first birthday. A milestone that without treatment, he may never have reached.  It was a pleasure to sit down with Hannah and of course my extra VIP guest Lawson, and I can't wait to continue to watch him grow in the months ahead.  You can follow Hannah on both TikTok and Instagram, @hannahlaidlerxo Support the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2497939/support] Want to keep up to date with who's to come on future episodes?  Find me over on socials by searching @the.honest.mummy If you have a story to share, have a guest suggestion or want to find out about sponsorship pop me over an email at carla@thehonestmummy.co.uk my inbox is always open!

"If you don't want it that much, you'll give up when things get hard." Lois, who has just recently launched her second business at 28, shares her story so far.

I first came across Lois on Instagram not long after I'd started my own page, she was one of the first content creators I knew of to take on the wedding market, creating @thesocialyouseek and allowing couples to get all those BTS videos from their special day.  Fast forward a few years, and her business has evolved. After seeing a gap in the market, and with the help of her Dad, together they've opened @thestudioyouseek which provides a space for content creation for businesses too.  I was very lucky to get to record the first episode in the studio, and of course it had to be with the lovely Lois herself.  She may be young, but she's focussed with a vision and I can't wait to see how the studio evolves over the next few years.  Support the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2497939/support] Want to keep up to date with who's to come on future episodes?  Find me over on socials by searching @the.honest.mummy If you have a story to share, have a guest suggestion or want to find out about sponsorship pop me over an email at carla@thehonestmummy.co.uk my inbox is always open!

episode "Why should there be a bar in hairdressing?"... Danielle's mission to reach beyond the 'limit' hairdressers are led to believe is possible. cover

"Why should there be a bar in hairdressing?"... Danielle's mission to reach beyond the 'limit' hairdressers are led to believe is possible.

I recently sat down with the lovely Danielle Polompo to learn about her journey from declaring herself homeless, to hairdressing mentor.  Danielle shared her very personal story with me, which she has given full permission for me to share. This is of course a cut down version and it goes without saying that she has been on some journey to get to where she is today.  Therapy, self development and a positive mindset, are some of the tools she's used to help create success and I can't wait to see what's to come for her in the future.  Danielle's mission is to change some of the attitudes in the hair industry and to encourage fellow hairdressers to know their worth.  Since being the little girl who was asked, "are you sure that's what you want to do?" Hairdressing has always been her passion, and she's just getting started.

Liker at det er både Podcaster (godt utvalg) og lydbøker i samme app, pluss at man kan holde Podcaster og lydbøker atskilt i biblioteket.
Bra app. Oversiktlig og ryddig. MYE bra innhold⭐️⭐️⭐️
