Princess Charlotte of Cambridge has Arrived!

Royal Guest Experts Amanda Littlefield and Marilyn Braun The House of Windsor has a new addition!  On May 2, 2015, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge was born at 8:34 a.m. London time.  With the given name Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, the Princess entered into this world with as much pageantry and fanfare as one would expect for a royal. Following the birth of Princess Charlotte, many landmarks were lit pink including Tower Bridge, London Eye, and the Trafalgar Square.  One thing is certain, the British love their monarchy! Of note, Princess Charlotte is scheduled to be christened on July 5, 2015 at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury.  Coincidentally, this is the same church in which Princess Diana was baptized. On this episode, I have two royal experts as my guests to discuss everything from Princess Charlotte's lineage to her upbringing.  If you are a fan of the British royals, you won't want to miss the episode.  And even, if you're not, listen anyway to become one!

*The Pageant Hour* Miss USA 2003 Susie Castillo

On March 24, 2003, Susie Castillo was crowned Miss USA in front of millions in a nationally televised live event from San Antonio, Texas.  Representing Massachusetts as its first Latina titleholder, she also was the first Miss USA with Dominican-Puerto Rican ancestry.  In May 2003, Susie travelled to Panama City, Panama to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.  Placing as a Top 15 semi-finalist, her national costume was the appropriately chosen "Wonder Woman". After her reign as Miss USA, Susie has been quite busy with everything from appearing on On Air with Ryan Seacreat to co-hosting the Miss Teen USA pageant.  She has so many accolades like the above-mentioned that it would be impossible to mention them all here. One of her most recent and exciting projects is an endeavor that is in conjunction with Miss USA 2004 Shandi Finnessey.  She is the co-founder of Pageantology which is a pageant coaching company that provides workshops and private coaching to pageant contestants. *The Pageant Hour* Mrs. United States Beth Isbell

In 2014 as the reigning Mrs. Texas, Beth Isbell competed in the Mrs. United States pageant and walked away with the crown!  At the time, she was only twenty-four years old, yet she continues to represent married women everywhere with grace and style.  In this episode of "The Pageant Hour", I will get to know more about this Texas beauty. Beth Isbell graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a minor in Agricultural Business. She quickly developed a passion for learning and leading in an educational environment, so upon graduation she attended Texas A&M University where she completed a Master of Science degree in Leadership, Education and Communications. She began working for the Texas A&M University system as a youth development agent in which she provided educational programming relating to health, bullying, character education, and leadership to youth in her assigned county. Two years later, she began working for East Central University as a graduate advisor and program coordinator for distance education and still volunteers her time heavily with programs that focus on youth mentoring. Beth has been married to her husband Brett for a year and a half and they have one “fur baby,” Tanner; a miniature beagle.
