Om The TABERNACLE (III) : A Prefiguration of The Gospel of The Water and the Spirit

How can we find out the truth hidden in the Tabernacle? Only by knowing the gospel of the water and the Spirit, the real substance of the Tabernacle, can we correctly understand and know the answer to this question. In fact, the blue, purple, and scarlet thread and the fine woven linen manifested in the gate of the Tabernacle's court show us the works of Jesus Christ in the New Testament's time that have saved the mankind. In this way, the Old Testament's Word of the Tabernacle and the Word of the New Testament are closely and definitely related to each other, like fine woven linen. But, unfortunately, this truth has been hidden for a long time to every truth seeker in Christianity. Coming to this earth, Jesus Christ was baptized by John and shed His blood on the Cross. Without understanding and believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, none of us can ever find out the truth revealed in the Tabernacle. We must now learn this truth of the Tabernacle and believe in it. We all need to realize and believe in the truth manifested in the blue, purple, and scarlet thread and the fine woven linen of the gate of the Tabernacle's court.

1. The Salvation of Sinners Revealed in the Tabernacle (Exodus 27:9-21)

The fence of the rectangular court of the Tabernacle measured 100 cubits in length. In the Bible, a cubit was set as the length extending from one’s elbow to the tip of his finger, about 45 cm in today’s measurement. As such, that the fence of the court of the Tabernacle was 100 cubits long means that it was about 45 m, and that its width was 50 cubits means that it was approximately 22.5 m wide. So this was the size of the House in which God dwelt among the people of Israel in the Old Testament’s time.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/  [https://www.bjnewlife.org/] https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission  [https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission] https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35  [https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35]

2. The Pillars of the Court of The Tabernacle (Exodus 27:9-19)

This passage explains the pillars, the screen gate, hangings of fine white linen, bands, hooks, bronze sockets, and bronze pegs of the court of the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle was a place where God dwelt. The size of the rectangular court measured approximately 45 m (its north and south sides) by 22.5 m (its east and west sides). The Tabernacle itself was a small structure with its roof of a fourfold covering. The court of the Tabernacle in contrast, was broad like a large open courtyard.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/  [https://www.bjnewlife.org/] https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission  [https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission] https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35  [https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35]

3. The Altar of Burnt Offering Made from Acacia Wood, Overlaid with Bronze (Exodus 38:1-7)

For any sinner among the people of Israel to be remitted from his sins, had to bring a sacrificial animal to the Tabernacle, pass his sins onto it by laying his hands on its head, draw its blood, and then hand this blood over to the priest. The priest in the line of duty then put this blood of the sacrificial animal on the horns of the altar of burnt offering, laid its fat and flesh on the altar, and burnt them with fire as a sweet aroma to the Lord God. Even the High Priest had to lay his hands on a sacrificial animal and pass his sins onto the animal before the altar of burnt offering in order to receive the remission of his sins. This was the sacrifice of the atonement offered at the altar of burnt offering which was made from acacia wood and was overlaid with bronze, and this sacrifice of the remission of sins was offered only through the laying on of hands and the shedding of blood.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/  [https://www.bjnewlife.org/] https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission  [https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission] https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35  [https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35]

4. The Altar of Incense Is the Place Where God Grants His Grace (Exodus 30:1-10)

If we were to step inside the Holy Place, the House of God, we would first see the lampstand, the table of showbread, and the altar of incense. The altar of incense was put in front of the entrance to the Most Holy, where the mercy seat was located, past the lampstand and the table of showbread. The length and width of this altar of incense were both one cubit, while its height was two cubits. In the Bible, a cubit is approximately 45-50 cm in today’s measurement. So the altar of incense was a rather small square, measuring around 50 cm in length and width and 100 cm in height. And like the altar of burnt offering, the altar of incense also had horns on its four upper corners. Made of acacia wood, the altar of incense was completely overlaid with gold.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/  [https://www.bjnewlife.org/] https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission  [https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission] https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35  [https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35]

5. The Spiritual Meaning of The Silver Sockets Used for the Tabernacle (Exodus 26:15-30)

The boards of the Tabernacle where God dwelt were all overlaid with gold. For each board of the Tabernacle to stand upright, God told Moses to make two silver sockets. The spiritual meaning of placing two silver sockets under each board is as follows. In the Bible, gold refers to faith that does not change in time. That these sockets of silver were placed under the boards overlaid with this gold means that God has given us two gifts that guarantee our salvation. In other words, it means that Jesus completed our salvation from sin by being baptized and shedding His blood.   https://www.bjnewlife.org/  [https://www.bjnewlife.org/] https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission  [https://youtube.com/@TheNewLifeMission] https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35  [https://www.facebook.com/shin.john.35]
